Pros:

Everything was clean and tidy, room was small but querky, which I loved. Had everything I needed for a 2 night stay.
Oscar showed me round and looked after me during my stay. He was lovely and very personable.
Great setting and just off the sea front (5 min walk)

Decent value for money, needs some simple fixes to make it a nicer stay
Pros:

Simple to get into the property on arrival with access codes sent before.
Nicely decorated room.
Good bathroom.
Nice offer of a free drink in the bar.

Cons:

Noisy. The room wasn't soundproofed so music from the pub was a problem when trying to sleep.
As the windows were old and badly fitting this meant that noise and drafts came from outside.
Some elements of the room are a bit tired, pillows were terrible, divan was scuffed and dirty, body wash holder in shower had been broken at some point and not repaired/replaced.
Far and away the worst element was the green LED lights in the room (assume fire sensors or similar) which were so bright it was almost daylight when trying to sleep. This feels like a very easy fix.

Worth the money!

Wonderful stay, terrible breakfast experience.
Pros:

We had a lovely stay overall, rooms were decorated beautifully, the front of house staff we encountered over Sunday & Monday were fabulous. The dinner food and service on Sunday night was fantastic.

Cons:

We had a truly awful breakfast / experience. Everything else about our stay was fantastic however, breakfast was terrible and tainted the overall experience of our stay. Myself and partner ordered poached eggs (runny requested), avocado on thick bloomer bread. The dishes that came out were way under the quality described / expected. Hard poached eggs, and then a strange guacamole substance smeared all over basic white slices of bread which appeared damp & greasy. Myself and partner could not eat this and asked at least for replacement runny poached eggs - it felt like the kitchen took umbridge to this as the replacements took 15 mins to come out (in an empty breakfast restaurant) - the eggs that arrived were now underdone and watery. Equally inedible. It felt like a passive aggressive response to our request for replacement eggs. We had hoped our server would have picked up on seeing us leave our entire breakfasts but he didn’t. And so, we paid in full and left. This was a really poor experience to end our otherwise lovely stay.
