I would not stay again.

Room was not in keeping with the confirmation picture I’d received. It had no air con and was extremely hot and the small fan was insufficient. The lock on the door was faulty, and I got locked in at least twice. I reported it but was informed there was no issue. Had there been a fire there would have been an issue.

Overnight stay, room and breakfast ticked all the boxes
Pros:

Rooms were large and comfortable, breakfast was very good value for money. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Ample parking available.
Voucher offering a free drink in the bar was a nice touch.

Comfortable with good facilities and easy walking distance to the town centre

I stayed in room 201 which is on the second floor of the property. I didn’t find the stairs difficult myself but this is something to bear in mind.

The room, including the bathroom were of a good size plenty of hot water and the shower was good. The bed was comfortable and there seemed to be a variety of pillows which would suit most tastes I should think

I especially like the availability of Parking, which seems unusual in Worthing in other hotels that say they have Parking but require you to park on the street and pay a daily charge

Cons:

I have stayed in this hotel many times before and the one thing that always let’s it down is the cleaning in the bedrooms. This time it was The showerhead, grouting in the shower and toilet that needed improved cleaning.

The soundproofing between the rooms upstairs appears worse than rooms on the first floor where I have normally stayed before

I did not want to pay extra for breakfast, but I did want coffee in the room. Everything was there but it was so dark in the corner where the kettle and tea things were located. It was not easy to efficiently make a drink. Unfortunately, I missed the cup with the kettle and then having filled it partially knocked it over trying to get the kettle back into the corner to sit on its charger. the packets of sweetener were rock hard and although I did try to use one the taste was dreadful so I had to throw it away and start again.

When you check out, they don’t always ask you how you enjoyed your stay and give you the opportunity to comment on small issues such as these and this time was no different
