Location perfect, a short stroll and we were at the shops and bars you can walk along the front plenty of restaurants to choose from.

We stayed at the hotel on a All inclusive basis but we didn’t like being in the buffet restaurant there are no windows and it was extremely noisy so apart from 2 breakfasts and one evening meal we didn’t use it.

Our room with pool view was lovely clean & spacious we did have to ask for toppers on the mattresses as they were very hard.
Lovely big shower and the staff kept the rooms as well as everywhere else very clean.

Pool was great lovely temperature and we always got a lounger the staff at the pool bars were very friendly.

Overall a nice week away with friends in a comfortable hotel.

Absolutely super place! We could not fault the staff, the building, the food or the pools. Nothing was too much trouble, we needed to get an early breakfast because of an excursion so they allowed us to go into breakfast half an hour early (they were still cooking so we couldn't have hot food but there was so much choice of cold that didn't matter). The rooftop bar is stunning and very reasonably priced for a hotel (around £4.50 for a decent sized glass of wine), and is well worth a visit. The pools are heated so this made for a really pleasant swim and as there are two pool areas, one for adults only and one for families this meant you could have a more peaceful time if you wanted to. We didn't see any of the entertainment. The free wine with dinner is OK, not the greatest, but it is free flowing and if you ask you can have prosecco instead. There is also an adults only part of the dining room - this does get busy but is worth waiting for if you can. The choice if food was really good and the desserts were incredible, not just your standard hotel desserts, lots of them and a great variety.

The animation team in the HOVIMA Suites hotel are brilliant! They are friendly, helpful, kind and always ensure all guests are having a fab and well entertained holiday. Big shout out to Mili who is so patient and helpful to all ages- young and old!

Great pools, nice to have a kids only pool to leave the adults alone.

The hotel reception area looks very grand so we were excited to check in arriving later in the evening. Unfortunately we were given a room on the first floor right next to the entertainment area and facing the industrial entrance of hotel next door. It was extremely loud with no view at all! In the morning we went to reception to ask for a change of room. The man who dealt with us (Ferin I think his name was) was amazing and kindly changed our room to 3rd floor facing the street (still noisy but no disco noise and better view)

The food and the dining area for us was horrendous!!! Think extremely loud and busy school/college canteen with awful food. They let too many people in and it was completely disorganised. I felt so sorry for the staff trying to clear up and reset tables. It was difficult to find a cup for coffee or glass for a cold drink. The food was probably the worst that we've ever had in a Spanish or Canarian hotel. We were HB and after two breakfasts and two dinners we did not return, choosing to eat out every day or our 7 day stay.

Pools looked busy but we went on the beach most days so again did not use this area

The staff we came across were all lovely (apart from the female on reception who put us in room 140, the worst room in the hotel in our opinion)

We will not return here

Nice property with much to approve of but some small but annoying issues that can frustrate your stay.
Apartments are lovely but my shower water turned scalding hot and then cold at times during my shower without touching the control. I reported it and they sent maintenance staff but of course it was perfect when tested ! lol
The buffet meals in the basement can feel like a canteen or holiday camp at times and being solo I returned to my table after fetching some item to find my half eaten food cleared and new guests sitting there on several occasions. Now I leave something personal on the table to indicate in use.
There is a definite problem in trying to get coffee from the slow Lavazza machines. Queues form at peak times and you can feel the frustration growing around you. Can they not have perked coffee available as well ? Too dangerous with kids running about maybe ?
Other than the above it's a nice place to stay and I'm enjoying my break..

We stayed here for the first time and over the week grew to really like the hotel and felt very comfortable.

The staff make the difference. They look like they’re enjoying themselves, are extremely helpful and always smiling. Aldo, Dorothy and the entertainment leader deserve special mention as do the guys working in the Italian restaurant where the food was delicious and service first class.

The facilities in general are good, rooms are spacious, modern and clean. Food is varied and on the whole very good however be warned that the restaurant is “busy” and don’t expect a relaxing ambience.

Lots of activity around family pool which we enjoyed but quieter pools. are available.

We were All Inclusive - the quality of the drinks was decent but nicer glasses would go along way.

We will return.

Food selection and quality was exceptional- something for every taste 😊 Having 3 pools was great - each had a different vibe . Rooftop adult only bar was lovely . My husband was well happy with the big screen in the middle outside bar so he could watch the sport 😊

Stayed here with husband and 17 year old daughter for a week in February . We stayed on an Exclusive Basis and were given a room on the 5th floor overlooking the adult pool. Room was very clean and being on an exclusive package had great additional aspects such as a pillow menu, room scent choices, free mini bar restocked daily with our choice of drinks taken from a menu found on the hotel app. As exclusive guests we had access to a gated solarium area near the adult pool which is accessible using your room key. This area is in the sun early morning until approximately 4pm in February. There is also a small help yourself bar there with beer, cava, soft drinks and water. Breakfast is served in a quiet restaurant area, food cooked to order, well presented. Staff were welcoming and super friendly. The Exclusive guests are looked after by Aldo, he makes sure everything runs smoothly and checks in on the guests regularly always with a smile, he’s a wonderful ambassador for the hospitality sector and a real credit to the Hotel.

The entertainment team work hard at the hotel, there are activities for all listed on the app and we saw a good Elton John Tribute and a rock trio during our stay.

There is a downside to the Hotel though and that is the the main restaurant that serves all guests at the Hovima. We had to use the restaurant for lunch and dinner. We had our own section of the restaurant but the noise is loud, queues long and the quality of the food is variable. Fish was often dry (overcooked) or worryingly undercooked. Food labelling was often wrong ( a major concern if you have dietary issues) , one evening there was no fruit left by 8pm so the staff did replenish the counter with 6 bananas. The food provision sadly lets the hotel down.

Great location, good amenities, excellent food and great service. Rhoil was very helpful at the pool bar.

Went for breakfast on Wednesday the 25th & the Mrs had her bag stolen in the restaurant by a staff member the hotel knew but did nothing but offer up grade to fully inclusive beware the cameras do not work in the restaurant.

10/10, what a great hotel! The staff are amazing, very helpful and friendly. The Hotel entertainment has something for everyone!
