A calm and professionally managed hotel — we truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

Good stay, but needs to improve to reach level of other Marriott 5 star hotels
Pros:

Staff were polite and friendly and were willing to accommodate our requests.
Breakfast had wide variety of options including healthy options. Served excellent coffee and tea and had live counters.
In room dining had plenty of options and was usually prompt and well prepared and presented in a very professional manner.
Very clean and rooms had most modern facilities
Our room didn't have an iron board and hair dryer, but these were promptly supplied on request

Cons:

Checking in process can be made quicker; there was only one person in the reception, who appeared less experienced. She wanted to keep my partner's original passport as there was some issue with copying. We refused as this was an inappropriate and unusual request which we were not comfortable to do. Our booking was for 5 adults - 2 rooms with one room to have an extra bed for the third adult. We confirmed this while checking in and were told that there is an extra bed in one room. When we went to the room, there was no extra bed and we had to contact them again to get this organised.

Our electronic room keys failed to work on multiple occasions. We had to go down to the reception on multiple occasions to get it activated. We noticed that other people staying here had similar experience with the room key card.

There was an issue with the security of one of the rooms. After closing, the room could be opened by anyone from outside. We notified the hotel staff who said the battery in the lock was running low and needs to be replaced. This was done after our insistence and there was no issue with the lock after this.

A very average hotel. Very good staff. Would not like to stay in this hotel again
