Clean and good quality
All okay
The room was large and comfortable with all the usual add-ons such as kettle, coffee machine, hairdrier and iron.
Bathrrom was roomy with large shower with plenty of hot water pressure.
Food was terrific.
It is mainly a restaurant rather than a hotel and with food so good it gets a little busy at times but there are plenty of staff so no issues. The staff sre very attentive and friendly.
The weather.
Stunning location, junior suite incredibly spacious and comfortable with extra luxury touches.
Needed few more coat hangers and a dressing table with mirror to do makeup and a sensor light for night walk to bathroom, you go up few steps in dark.
Everything was perfect

Very convenient to where we had to go. Buzzing with people and a nice atmosphere. A lovely building and the staff were all very pleasant.
Lovely breakfast and enjoyed it not being a buffet.
I booked the last room available which was room 10. Well laid out but very dark.
Dinner selection and presentation was excellent.
Breakfast service was average leaving us waiting for a while. Also like most hotels these days there is no visible buffet to select from, just a verbal "we have a selection of cereals". All these cereals were high sugar or covered in honey which for a diabetic is very limiting.
The staff were really superb, attentive and professional. The bar was welcoming and had a fantastic range of drinks. The room was spotlessly clean and well presented. The location to Shrewsbury was great.
The food in the evening and at breakfast was poor. One evening meal served undercooked and cold. It was replaced, but then the meal very disjointed. Breakfast in the morning, very overcooked, it was not edible. Again staff replaced quickly. The whole experience was disappointing.
The hotel is situated on a busy road into Shrewsbury so high levels of traffic noise and no secondary glazing. Late evening and early morning traffic.
Superbly clean, spacious ,comfortable and well furnished room.
Excellent menu, lovely food and efficient staff working in a large dining room and bar area again beautifully appointed . Large well cared for outdoor space next to the river too!
Can’t think of anything.
Position next to river
Old windows which let in a draft. Could do with at least secondary glazing.
The hotel, bar and restaurant were beautiful, couldn’t fault it at all. The only slight criticism was some of the waiting staff at night were a little lacking in perhaps politeness is the right word.
