Amazing location and staff super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. We had great sleeps, breakfasts and enjoyed the walk to the waterfront regularly for shopping and also checked out the Time Out Market.
I have preciously stayed here on numerous occasions, it’s been our go to place for the past 3 years because of the location, impeccable service and amenities. However, this last visit was a bit disappointing, the ambiance has changed and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was not up to par. The room was supposedly serviced daily but the shower was not cleaned at all with used dirty towels just folded and put back and the bed was poorly made. On the 3rd day we raised the issue with management as our stay had become very uncomfortable and they offered us into a cleaner room.

I would like to share some honest feedback in the hope that it will help improve the guest experience.
Unfortunately, I felt that the level of cleanliness did not meet the standards expected from a luxury hotel. I kindly ask that more attention be given to housekeeping and the overall cleanliness of the property.
In addition, I believe the hotel would greatly benefit from further renovation and modernization, as some areas appear outdated and could be improved to better reflect the quality guests expect.
I hope you will take this feedback into consideration, as I believe these improvements would make a significant difference for future guests.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sanctuary Spa lived up to the its name. I received the Mama Africa treatment from Janet and it was heavenly. She was sweet and attentive. From the moment I walked in to the calming aroma and hibiscus tea, everything was excellent. Lee-cay gave a warm welcome and was so helpful in securing my last minute appointment. I will return and highly recommend.

The hotel is close to the V&A and the city town. Being centrally located made it easy to access various spots within very close proximity of the hotel.
The finishings in the room was not what I had expected. It felt tacky instead of giving the feeling of opulence and luxury. I also did not like the fact that, form m yroom door you can see into the shower. No privacy.
Friendly professional reception and hospitality by Sol and his entire team, together with neat stylish environment, made this a memorable experience. Great location!

The property is located in the best part of Capetown, near the V&A waterfront. It’s extremely safe and clean. The staff is amazing and attentive. I especially appreciate Mr. Sulaiman who has made our stay exceptional, by offering us a room upgrade.

We had a couples massage with Patricia and Netiwe at Sanctuary Spa, and wow it was honestly the best massage we have ever had! We left feeling completely relaxed, happy and refreshed. Highly recommended! ✨

It wasn’t clear that there were so many steps and ramps to get to the waterfront. It wasn’t clear that there are two buildings one is on the waterfront and one is across the street and up many steps.
