A true sanctuary
Pros:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sanctuary Spa lived up to the its name. I received the Mama Africa treatment from Janet and it was heavenly. She was sweet and attentive. From the moment I walked in to the calming aroma and hibiscus tea, everything was excellent. Lee-cay gave a warm welcome and was so helpful in securing my last minute appointment. I will return and highly recommend.

It was okay.
Pros:

The hotel is close to the V&A and the city town. Being centrally located made it easy to access various spots within very close proximity of the hotel.

Cons:

The finishings in the room was not what I had expected. It felt tacky instead of giving the feeling of opulence and luxury. I also did not like the fact that, form m yroom door you can see into the shower. No privacy.

I would surely come back to the same hotel!
Pros:

The property is located in the best part of Capetown, near the V&A waterfront. It’s extremely safe and clean. The staff is amazing and attentive. I especially appreciate Mr. Sulaiman who has made our stay exceptional, by offering us a room upgrade.

Best massage ever!
Pros:

We had a couples massage with Patricia and Netiwe at Sanctuary Spa, and wow it was honestly the best massage we have ever had! We left feeling completely relaxed, happy and refreshed. Highly recommended! ✨

It wasn’t clear that there were so many steps and ramps to get to the waterfront. It wasn’t clear that there are two buildings one is on the waterfront and one is across the street and up many steps.

Superb smiling staff
Pros:

Too often stays at respected hotels can be tarnished by the attitude and friendliness of staff. The Queen Victoria’s was the complete opposite. Superb, happy staff who made us feel special. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean, large and spacious, the hotel is positioned directly behind the V&A Waterfront with very easy access. Warm and inviting we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Queen Victoria.

Great spa experience at Sanctuary Spa
Pros:

We had a 60mins aromatherapy massage after a day out exploring the city. The quality of the massage that we received from Patricia and Pheli were great and we felt so relaxed after the massage. The overall service experience was very positive, and we hope to be able to squeeze some time for another massage session before we leave Capetown.

Amazing spa with massage, sauna, showers
Pros:

I had a great massage in the sanctuary spa from Pheliswa. Never had a heated bed table before that was amazing. Definitely recommend this spa! Spa, sauna, showers, has everything’s what’s needed
