We liked the antique ambience and comfortable bed. Very large bedrooms and bathroom.
Sporadic hot water temperature in shower.

We had a magical stay. This hotel feels like you are staying in a historic palace. The room and the bathroom were huge and very comfortable. Loved the cute juliette balcony. We appreciated the antique furniture in the room. We arrived prior to check-in and the hotel was happy to store our luggage. Yes, there are only stairs to access the rooms, however staff assisted us with our luggage. We requested an extra pillow and was delivered to the room quickly. We stayed in early January and the room temperature was very comfortable (despite no AC or fans). Amazing location for exploring the city and all the outdoor markets. We took an uber to the ADO bus station and picked up right in front of hotel. Excellent value for money!
Filtered water tap in room and breakfast on-site would have been nice, but 1 minute walk to convenience store.
El concepto del hotel, la ubicación es excelente.

I LOVED lots of aspects of this hotel: Brandon who greeted me at 2am, Graciela the next day & for several days on the front desk is smart, knowledgeable, helpful, efficient, kind & practical. AND she speaks english very well. Also Guadalupe cleans beautifully. I needed extra services: a fridge in the room, more pillows etc. No problem! This hotel is old (1600s) and really interesting. Like most old Mexicano hotels, there aren't so many electrical sockets but Brandon (as well as carrying the fridge to my room), provided extension cords. This hotel is SO central, is in SUCH a safe neighbourhood with markets, shops, banks, pharmacies and restaurants--just everything you need nearby AND is also in a shaded area so it was never hot. If you like quirky, if you are traveling alone (or not--but knowing the team cared made staying there feel like home) and want to feel safe, I highly recommend this hotel AND Puebla city. Thanks to all the staff!
Electrical sockets & sometimes waiting for hot water BUT Graciela told me to give her 10 minutes notice of needing water, just in case she can boost it when everyone else is also taking a shower in the morning. But this water issue is across Mexico, so the hotel is not the problem. Gracias Graciela!
