Their inability to turn the fire alarm off for well over an hour after they knew it was a false alarm
Early check in was quick, room was quite large and had all I needed. Bedding was good. Things were clean. Bar service was quick - card only. Location wasn't far from the don valley bowl where we were at a concert and Ubers came quite quickly.
Someone set off the fire alarm around 0030 and it went on until about 0230. It was bank holiday weekend and there were a lot of half naked drunk people in reception along with crying babies. Staff did not keep us informed of a thing. If I'd have slept for more than 5 hours I'd have been very pleased with this place.
Easy to find, next to the m1, friendly staff
Room was not soundproof, could hear everyone, shower seal was coming apart, wasn’t clean and mattress seemed to be old & uncomfortable
The rooms were nice,the bed was very comfortable and the shower and toilet area was of a good size.
The breakfast was lovely and lots of choice.
A great place to stay if you are going to sheffield arena and surrounding area.
Unfortunately for us and the other guests the fire alarm went off just before 1 am and we had to evacuate the property. Not the hotels fault, some little scrotum bag decided to set the fire alarm off. It was over a hour later when we finally got to go back to our rooms.
Clean and tidy.
During our stay the fire alarm was activated, which in itself is not an issue and worked as it should. Upon moving into the hotel lobby there appeared to be no clear directions from management on site. There appeared to be no set process or procedures to deal with the activation of the alarm at 13:00 in the morning. There was only 1 member of staff visible in the hotel lobby. Overall a poor experience at a time when a process should be tried and tested to deal with immediate full evacuation if the hotel.
Clean and fairly comfortable
The alarm went off middle of our 2nd night. It was total confusion 😕 . The hotel only had one member of staff available which was poor from them and unfair on the individual staff member having to deal with hundreds of us disgruntled guests who have been denied a night's sleep. The alarm went on for over three hours and as as result we were denied a good night sleep, and had a headache in the morning. I will be complaining to the hotel and I would like a refund for at least the night that was disrupted by faulty fire alarm. Even the Fire Brigade couldn't switch it off. I filmed a short video from my phone but I can't seem to upload on here!
Room was dirty had blood stains on the sofa and to top it off I left my shirt in room and they saying it’s been take. By cleaners

Woke up early hours with fire alarm so we all had to evacuate the building also we had granddaughter with us so it frightened her other than things was ok
The comfy bed, clean room, lovely evening meal and breakfast
Alarm went off at 12.45 for well over an hour and only 1 member of staff to deal with all customers. Sadly a few of the guests (if you can call them that) took advantage of the unsecured bar and helped themselves to bottles of alcohol from behind the bar
