Marijuana smell and noisy nights.
Pros:

Our room was very clean.

Cons:

Apparently several people live at this hotel, and they roam around all hours of the night and don't know how to stay quiet. (dogs barking, doors slamming, people talking). The smell of marijuana was so strong on the first floor near the ice machine, you could smell it every time we went up the stairwell to the second floor.

It was filthy they used duct tape to take pillsberry boxes to the ac unit sheets were dirty bugs smoothed into the bathroom floor the door was so dirty it was black and the door was teal! I have stayed at some cheap places but this was just down right disgusting and should be looked into! There was people fighting and yelling in the parking lot they had nothing but long term stays and it was just ew

Old and creepy - we were out in the furthest building and no elevator and had to carry luggage upstairs and air wasn’t working so we bought a fan and air quit again during the night so we left next day and stayed elsewhere

It stunk water leaks by the entrance where we had to come in the doors to enter the locks didn't work the sliding door wouldn't lock or close all the way had to use a brase to keep it closed the floor in front of the sliding door was weak thought I was going to fall Thur the floor the pictures didn't look anything like the property asked for a patio got a balcony there was no patio never will go back

STAY AWAY!

With all the negative reviews of this hotel, I wish I would have heeded to the warning! STAY AWAY! Although I booked my stay for a jacuzzi room w/ outdoor corridor 19 days before arrival, they gave it to someone else! On the day of arrival, I received a text from Howard Johnson hotel to do early check-in to save time upon arrival. At 1 pm, I did the early check-in through their link for a 3:00 pm check-in. As we were on our way to the hotel to check-in, our radiator blew. I tried to call, but the # was saying it wasnt a working # so I texted them to let them know the situation. They responded that they were sorry to hear of my situation & I could check-in when I could get there. About 3 hrs later, we arrived & was told they had NO rooms. When I told the front desk I had been in contact with them at 3:05 & was msgd that it was okay, he proceeded to tell me that at 3pm, they had already booked ALL their rooms & had overbooked 18 rooms!! He confirmed I had reserved a jacuzzi room, but no, they didnt have any available nor any other rooms. He also told me that although I had not officially paid for my room reservation yet, that some of the 18 overbooked rooms had paid and he will have to offer refunds. This is VERY unprofessional and I will NEVER book here again! My recommendation is STAY AWAY!

Very happy with my stay, especially at a great price.
Pros:

I planned this trip for my wife's birthday. I planned everything, and the room was everything I hoped. It was spacious, the bed was super soft, and very clean and maintained. And the location was excellent. 10 minutes from everything. And the staff I delt with and talked to were very polite and welcoming.

Cons:

When pulling up, the outside of the property looks questionable. Other than that, the tub. It was clean, but it was dated and discolored. Maybe update the bathroom.
