Pros:

Breakfast was fine.

Cons:

Pillows ! Far too soft. Asked for hard pillows and they were still soft. You need to do something about the pillows.

Great value for money hotel in great location
Pros:

The hotel has a good location if you are for a business in the City, relatively close to the underground. The staff was exceptional, very good servise from the front desk, concierge, and the waiters. Their breakfast is exceptional, the room was clean and comfy.

Cons:

The hotel is not a 5 star hotel, but is good and has great value for money.

Good value for money and comfortable
Pros:

Well located for City. 12 minutes walk from Moorgate and Farringdon (Barbican entrance) Liz line which will get you around London efficiently. Aldersgate and Finsbury Square also have good bus routes like the 4 and 43, while a walk up Whitecross St will find an interesting weekday food market and get you to Clerkenwell Road/old Street for the 55 into the west end or 243 that is good for Covent Garden.
Though miscommunicated on social media as a ‘cheap 5 star’, in reality this is a 4 star type hotel with late 90s interiors that have seen a bit of wear and tear. It’s not the latest Mayfair bling palace but critically neither is the price. The Brewery has the comforts and hospitality that existed before hotels became a financial engineering exercise. That’s a good thing. Eg a proper wardrobe not hooks for hangars etc.
The room was scrupulously clean. Shower was good.
And air con worked well to enjoy a clean quiet room.
I had one issue with my first room (a broken safe) which the hotel team resolved quickly efficiently and with charm. When things go wrong that’s when a hospitality team earn their stripes. 10/10 to the Brewery team for that.
The breakfast was very good, and all the staff across the hotel seemed to genuinely be going the extra mile.
Overall it’s competitively priced and delivers genuine hospitality in a clean environment with comfortable beds.
For the competitive price it’s a good value choice - especially if you love 90s interiors.
A final note - its location means it avoids the ghastly mix of influencer/fashionista/ hedge fund tight blue suit types that can ruin the atmosphere in other London hotels

Cons:

There’s a bit of wear and tear where maintenance could do an easy fix

Elegant and very comfortable hotel right near the city centre and Liverpool Street.
Pros:

Beautiful old building, rich style, elegant reception. The welcome by the staff is one of the best experienced, always smiling, professional and helpful. The breakfast was also excellent.

Cons:

Nothing it was very enjoyable.
The bathrooms could have a small refit that is all

Overall a lovely stay - great location, wonderful friendly staff, and a comfortable second room!
Pros:

Excellent breakfast, amazing and attentive staff - went out of their way to help when we mentioned that we hadn't slept well due to outside noise, and found us a new room in a different part of the hotel.

Cons:

Some rooms are a little tired and external noise affects sleep

Ein sehr gutes Hotel an zentraler Lage.
Pros:
