We booked a Deluxe Room and requested a top-floor room when making our reservation, as we were hoping to enjoy the views and have a balcony.
When we arrived, we were first shown a top-floor room with two single beds that wasn’t a Deluxe Room.
After pointing this out, the staff offered us the option of moving to the Deluxe Room, which was located on the ground floor.
We chose the Deluxe Room, even though it didn’t have a balcony or the same views.
That said, it looked exactly like the photos and was just as beautiful.
This didn’t affect our overall experience at all, especially because the hotel has two stunning rooftop terraces where you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset.
The room itself was amazing: spacious, beautifully designed, and carved into the rock.
It featured a large entrance area, a jacuzzi, a huge and comfortable bed, and an enormous bathroom.
We haven’t use the SPA area neither the outside pool, but it looked amazing!
One thing I personally really loved was the breakfast buffet.
There was an excellent variety of options for everyone, from savory to sweet, including hot dishes, fresh fruit, bread, jams, and homemade cakes. You’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy.
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would happily return.
The only aspect that could be improved was the maintenance of the bathroom.
The shower jets were spraying in different directions, most likely because they were clogged with limescale. The shower glass was also cloudy due to limescale buildup, the sink showed some signs of wear, the bidet was slightly crooked, and the sofa in the entrance area was very dirty. Normally, I wouldn’t complain about these minor details, but considering the price of the room, I think it’s fair to point them out. At this level, you naturally expect excellent maintenance and attention to detail.
One small suggestion that might be helpful: considering the early morning activities in the area, such as the hot air balloon rides, which usually finish around 7:00 a.m., I think starting breakfast at 8:00 a.m. is a little late.
It would be perfect if breakfast started at 7:00 a.m., but that’s just my personal opinion.

The hotel itself is amazing. We used and enjoyed the indoor pool, steam room and sauna. Staying in a cavern room is a unique experience. Breakfast had so many delicious options.
As you check in we got a short tour of the hotel, but we also got to spend a good amount of time listening to the museum of the place lady. The clerk did not really ask us if we wanted to do that. She was super nice, but it would be much more polite to ask people if they want to do it instead of just bring you there without notice.

Hotel troglodyte merveilleusement situé à Goreme à 2min à pieds de la rue principale et tousbses restaus. L'hotel et les chambres sont plein de charme avec les petites terrasses individuelles.
Le spa très chic en sous-sol et peu fréquenté.
Le personnel accueillant et répondant à toutes nos demandes rapidement.
Pouvoir voir les montgolfières passer au dessus de nos têtes au petit matin. Magique!
Le matelas de notre lit était dur comme de la pierre et s'enfonçait au milieu.
Il y avait des travaux juste en face de notre chambre et de la terrasse du travaux avec de grands échafaudages sur toute la hauteur gâchant un peu le côté naturel de l'environnement. J'espère pour les prochains touristes que ces travaux se termineront bientôt...
Nous avons aussi été déçus par le rapport qualité prix du restaurant de l'hotel. Le restaurant le plus cher de tout notre séjour en Turquie et parmi les moins bons.
En revanche les serveurs étaient très prévenants.

The property is stunning, blending tradition and modern design (in parts). It is extremely well located and has one of the best lookout points. The room we had was large and well serviced. The reception desk staff were very friendly. There are a lot of facilities to use but not all of these work (cold plunge wasn’t cold, atmosphere shower didn’t work, Turkish bath wasn’t warm enough) but all other facilities were great (pools, sauna and steam).
My only negative criticism is that the staff who run the spa center seem very bothered to be working there. We booked in two treatments and both times it was almost a surprise to the staff that we turned up. The energy wasn’t relaxing, more “let’s get this done then”. Both treatments abruptly ended, the clay mask one specifically ending with the clay still on our faces and no clear instruction that we were meant to leave.

The breakfast, usually in Turkish hotel is better.
They offer à rooftop, but it was dirty and uncomfortable, the service is not good and also very expensive.
Everything was excellent - from the staff, to the place and the beautiful views. It was a beautiful hotel that matches the atmosphere of Cappadocia. The staff ere very helpful and accommodating.
Everything was excellent. My only comment would be to say in advance that there are constructions in the hotel as this was sometimes not very relaxing when being by the pool. Also, I would’ve preferred more relaxing music at the pool (perhaps even Turkish music).
