Excellent stay, chose for an event at Athena - closest place I’ve ever said to an event! Brilliant walking distance and position and Parking availability! And great Aircon and blackout curtains in our 38° heatwave!

Cons:

Room was was very tired and needs a refurbishment. Chunks out of the desk, scuffs on the wall. Floor was dirty.
Got in the shower and had no shower gel, so had to ring reception for more.

Modern city centre hotel but slightly overpriced with no cheap. Parking
Pros:

A comfortable modern hotel in the heart of Leicester, convenient for its many pubs and restaurants. Not too far from the railway station and convenient for all local buses, in my case to Grace Road cricket ground.

Cons:

The hotel was the most expensive in central Leicester and a little overpriced for what it was. The room wasn't huge and the double bed would have been on the small side if my wife had been travelling with me. In essence you are paying for the location. Not recommended for guests coming by car as the car parks nearby are extremely expensive. Breakfast was OK but the selection would become quite boring if staying for more than a couple of nights.
