Hotel Natalina

We spent 2 nights here and had a great experience. The hotel's a bit funky and may not be your cup of tea if you like contemporary, American hotels. This is family run and has a throwback vibe that we really enjoyed. Lots of art on the walls of the lobby (some of which is for sale). The hotel is not fancy but the folks who run it could not have been nicer and the breakfast was a pleasant bonus. Our room was comfortable and clean. Our friends were across the hall and they enjoyed a spectacular view of the coast from their balcony.

The property is a short walk from the town center. The town center has lots of great restaurants. It is also a short walk to the parking garage. It is upon a hill above the beach. But you can walk to a cable car in about 10 minutes that will take you up and down from the beach. Taormina is very hilly! so this would not be a good place for the mobility impaired. There is a shuttle that will run you from the parking garage up into the town. That was a pleasure to use. The food in town was fantastic. I can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel. They were all wonderful. The breakfast was also fantastic. If I ever went to Taormina Again, I would definitely stay at this hotel.

Check in and check out was a breeze. Spacious room though it is dated. Bathrooms could use an upgrade and I did not like how the toilet and shower were practically one. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was decent. I’m not a huge breakfast person, so a cornetto and cup of coffee is fine for me. Fresh made juice was delicious. If you’re expecting a large continental breakfast then this isn’t for you. Overall not too bad.

Lovely little place just 10mins walk into town,less to the cable car and bus station,staff are fabulous Eva gave me a warm welcome and recommended some local restaurants and places to see,my room was a single,but a good size with ample storage space,the bed wasnt so comfy but the view made up for it. Sea views accross to the mainland was truely stunning, the sunrise in the morning from my balcony blew me away. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of sweet and savory.overall a lovely experience.

Bit noisy because of the gas station next door. People shouting in the morning. But really ok place with super nice hosts. They take the time to explain everything and give good pointers to the area.

The staff are incredibly kind, I visited as a solo guest but I felt so welcomed. The views from the rooms are also amazing. I would recommend this property over any €1000 a night property in Taormina any day.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel, I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good price, centrally located, friendly and efficient staff hotel. For the rate and the price of the room everything was great, with fresh linen each day etc ..thanks

Ich fand das Hotel für den Preis was ich bezahlt habe überhaupt nicht gut. Das Hotel ist heruntergekommen und bräuchte eine Komplettrenovierung.

Die Dusche selbst ist eine Frechheit. Es ist einfach nur ein Duschvorhang an einer Stange befestigt. So etwas habe ich noch nie gesehen.

Wer seine Ruhe haben will sollte sich wo anders umschauen. Es ist so hellhörig, dass man jeden Schritt und jedes Wort im Flur hört.

Was ich auch überhaupt nicht gut fand war das Frühstück. Das Brot wat alt, keine Vielfalt, Butter komplett geschmolzen und es gab immer das gleiche. Das Obst und Gemüse war schon verwelkt.

Ich kann das Hotel nicht empfehlen. Erholung schaut anders aus.

Amazing staff who were super helpful with tips to get around the city. The hotel could be a touch loud at night with mopeds on the side-street but overall awesome stay with great breakfast.

We decided to do a last minute trip to Taormina to see the amphitheatre and visit Mt Etna and the Alcanatara Gorges, whilst staying at our villa in Cefalu. We chose this hotel as it was budget friendly and close to the town/theatre/cable car to the beach. We arrived early and Eva gave us the most personal welcome - making us cappuccino’s before sitting with us and outlining places of interest on the map. She then told us to place our luggage in the storage area and personally escorted my husband to the parking garage to ensure he found a space ok. Eva advised that breakfast was served 8-10 the following morning and was included, but explained we wouldn’t have breakfast and we had to leave by 8 for our trip to Mt Etna - her reply, no worries we can do breakfast at 07.30 instead and what a spread they had for us in the morning! Delicious pastry, bread, fruit, cheese, meats, yoghurts, eggs and lots more - absolutely outstanding service! We had ordered 2 glasses of wine at the bar after returning earlier than anticipated due to heavy rain and on checking out I explained we still had to pay for these and she said - on the house, to take your mind off the rain! So, so kind! Eva also gave us a great restaurant recommendation for dinner - Sapporo Di Mare and it didn’t disappoint either. Hotel rooms themselves were dated but spotlessly clean and the service outdone everything - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! After arriving back in Cefalu we realised my son had accidentally left his blanket in Hotel Natalina and Eva has been superb at keeping in touch and agreeing to post this back to us in Scotland. We wish this hotel nothing but the best for the future xx

Basic, affordable accommodation that is conveniently located, clean and functional. The staff were tremendous; friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was better than we were expecting.

Lovely place for a short break in Taormina and the area, we were well looked after by the team and they were very helpful with my mother who has mobility issues.

O hotel fica muito bem localizado.
Fomos muito bem recebidos pela Eva, que nos deu ótimas dicas sobre a cidade, melhores passeios etc.
Nosso quarto era muito espaçoso, e tinha uma varandinha com uma vista maravilhosa pra o mar.
Apenas duas coisas ficaram a desejar: não havia um frigobar no quarto e o espaço para o banho de chuveiro era minúsculo.
O cafe da manhã era excelente, e todos os funcionários muito educados e gentis. Recomendo muito.

Great location for us, walking distance from hotel to the town centre, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and bus stops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Convenient location, simple but nice room, friendly and helpful staff. They one slight downside of the central location was that my room overlooked a rather well trafficked road, which was quite load late into the night. Overall, great stay though.
