Our stay was amazing! Very clean room, excellent lake view. Friendly staff!

Fantastisk sted med nydelig utsikt over Comosjøen og Bellagio. Familiedrevet sted med særpreg. Vær OBS på at stedet ligger et bra stykke opp høyden og unna sentrum i Tremazzo. Helst trenger man bil, det er god parkeringsplass ved hotellet, men verten kjører også gjerne og henter og leverer. Nydelig og velstelt badebasseng og omkledningshus. Fantastisk vennlig og serviceinnstilt personale, du blir meget godt tatt vare på. Nydelig mat på litt tradisjonelt vis.

My goodness we were DELIGHTED with our choice.

A very rare experience to stay in a genuine family run hotel not a chain!

The family Franco and wife Llyda couldn't not have been more kind and helpful.

That in itself was a huge plus.

Then the location WOW !!! Oh those views over the Alps and lake Como from thre bedrooms and the terrace where we enjoyed fabulous GnTs and nibbles whilst the sun went down.

The food in the restaurant was great quality, excellent wine list and cooked by Francos brother.

A car is really useful to get up from the main road, high into the hills.

The location is complemented by a couple of restaurants near it ( one run by Francos cousin).

Convenient for the ferry stop to visit other towns .

Note , if you require modern facilities ie power showers/ modern furnisings etc this is not your vibe

It's for people who value genuine hospitality, great food wine and simply stunning scenery 👌

Amazing lovely hotel with clean rooms. Even though we had Mountain View, we could still see the lake. Shower pressure was very good with an overhead shower too! Lovely breakfast options and terrace with probably the best view we have ever seen. The hotel manager was very nice and even dropped us off to the ferry station in the morning. Definitely will be returning soon.

Not really sure whether we would have a small lunch or just a drink, but you should go for the food as well. Very nice and welcoming host, extremely nice view from the terrace on the lake and Bellagio. We had Parma ham and melon to share and it was fantastic. Fair prices and outstanding service. What else do you expect?

We stayed 1 night in this hotel. We arrived late afternoon and check in was fast and good.
They have an outdoor pool which we used for a while although the water at that time were a bit cold.
They say they have A/C but it did not work in our room, I think they shut it off to save…
We were family of 4 adults and everyone agrees that the room was spacious with outdoor garden, but the bed’s mattress were HORRIBLE, and extremely uncomfortable. The pillow were flat and very uncomfortable as well.
The breakfast was AMAZING really good, and the view from the outside of the room as well as the breakfast area was AMAZING as well.
For this type of hotel they should replace all mattresses and pillows to make the guests comfortable. From sleeping perspective it was really bad, all other things I mentioned were good.
Just because of the sleeping experience I will never stay there again.

The hotel room was small but clean with a comfortable bed. There was no kettle and the shower was over the bath. The room had a balcony and the view over the lovely garden and Lake Como was superb. We ate dinner twice at the hotel restaurant which also had a lovely outlook although we found dining around 8pm too late for us. The food, however, was delicious. It was a little disappointing that the pool water was cold given the warm weather as it looked very inviting. The hosts and staff were friendly and hard working. Parking was free on site. You need a car as the hotel is located up steep roads from the lake but the benefit is the fabulous view.

Superb hotel, amazing views, good food and drink. Lovely people and service. Only downside is the walk up the hill but helped keep us fit! Our dog was made very welcome. Thank you all!!!

A little gem of a find! Beautiful, traditional, authentic, clean, small hotel with the most incredible views. The setting is just stunning, whether relaxing by the wonderful pool or sitting in their garden area or eating breakfast/lunch/dinner. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The food was very good indeed. Very good spread for breakfast with freshly cooked eggs to order. 4 course dinner fantastic. Aperol Spritz just perfect! Run by a very hardworking, friendly, unassuming, quiet family. They even ironed my husband's very creased shirt before we attended a wedding at Villa del balbianello! Really appreciated. It's situated higher up, hence those views, so a bit of a walk back from the lake. Took us 15 mins down, lovely walk. Maybe 30 mins up...We arranged taxis for when we headed down in the evening....couldn't do the walk in heels! We were thrilled with this find. We have recommended to all our friends & family who can't believe the view in our pics! We are also planning on returning with our young children. Thank you.

Wonderful views and friendly helpful staff. Our complaint is that the owners family treated the pool as their own one day, with them taking over with inflatables, children, thus not allowing paid guests to be able to swim lengths. The use of a mobile on speaker also impacted on being able to enjoy the peace and quiet, the sounds of nature. We love the malards which thought the pool was their pond. The rooms we very clean and the terraces lovely. We were slightly disappointed with the service in the restaurant and some dishes/vegtables bring cold. Overall stunning hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Rusall and found it extremely comfortable, relaxing and reasonably priced. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and them views from the rooms and from the terrace were amazing. The rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was very good with eggs cooked to order and a very good buffet. We ate in the hotel on our third night and the food was excellent. The only downside is thatnyou do need a car as the climb up from the lake is quite steep - but that is why it has such amazing views.
