MAZI Design Hotel by Kalima

I really liked this place even though it was nothing exceptional. Just a nice place to stay in a good location with good staff

My stay here was great. Staff were lovely and although the hotel was close to everything, the noise wasn’t disturbing. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff at this hotel were amazing. I felt safe and welcome there.
Hotel is very central to everything and was easy to get public transport back if needed. The market being a ross the road was an added bonus.
The only pitfall I would say is the side of the hotel with a lift was extremely loud road side. When I asked the staff, I was promptly moved to the other side and assisted with moving my luggage.
All up Mazi is a great little hotel with even greater staff.

Have to climb stairs to get to our hotel room in level 3. Very inconvenient as the staff says the lift is not working. Pool was nice and breakfast was basic with eggs, toast, jam, fruits and couple of Asian dishes. Overall was average hotel. Too many mosquitoes aswell.

Would definitely recommend

I was lucky enough to be on the other side of the streets. The view was fun, balcony was a huge plus. The room was perfect. Highly recommended, especially for the price. I will definitely return one day. Thank you MAZI

If you want to stay near the beach you’re out of luck but in every other respect, modern, clean, great staff, excellent pool, this is the place, and the location is actually quite convenient. Highly recommend!

Two single beds push together no good

Very nice place for the price. The only thing we did not like was the terrible smell coming from the bathroom. No door on the shower causing the floor to become very wet and slippery.

It was close to a lot of restaurants and close to Bangla road , what I didn’t like I got charged 150 baht for a teaspoon that we found later in our bag lol other than that great hotel.

The hotel staff was kind. Also this hotel was well within budget so I shouldn't complain much. I will say that the Wifi was very spotty. If you're looking for a nice connection, you might be better off staying at a chain Resort or purchasing a sim card. The room itself was modern and adquently equipped. I picked the higher priced room for the sea view. My traveling friends room on a lower floor was twice the size of my upgraded room. The bed was a bit stiff and the condition of the walls, floors and overall hotel seemed lacking. The room service was very limited. When checking out, they attempted to charge me for a missing glass and face towel. The glass was cleared by the room service staff which caused the confusion. The face towel was taken with housekeeping. I was shocked and annoyed that I would have to explain that to them...especially for such low value items. I wish I would have stayed somewhere else. The location was nice...walking distance to great night markets and a short cab tuck tuck ride to the busy nightlife. I would recommend this hotel if you're not fussy about the quality or furnishings of the room. It was affordable and centrally located. If you're looking for comfort...search somewhere else.

Friendly staff. Even though we were given the room with lift excess and have to climb 3storeys up, the room is extremely clean and pleasant. Hotel area is about 5-10mins walks to Patong Main District Area (Jungceylon Mall). There is an awesome food place opposite the hotel called Baoli too!
