Local excelente no meio da natureza. O alojamento inclui várias peças antigas, que combinam muito bem com o ambiente do convento.

Convento da Provença is prachtig gelegen, iets ten Noorden van Portalegre, en is ook zeer geschikt voor het bezoeken van Marvao en Castelo de Vide. Wij hadden een grote kamer met aparte badkamer, alles schoon en ruim. Het hotel is ingericht met antieke meubels en beschikt over een ruime zitkamer/bibliotheek. Het ruime zwembad biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving. Van het voormalige klooster zijn nog elementen bewaard gebleven. Het ontbijt was prima en de ontvangst door de Duitse eigenaren en Oscar was allerhartelijkst. Wij aten 's avonds uitstekend in Cantinho do Pescador in het nabijgelegen Ribeira de Nisa.

It was a little out of the way spot that is SO great , staff help you out with any reasonable requests, it’s pure peace and quiet , we enjoyed our stay , breakfast was amazing.
