Excellent breakfast buffet. Loved the greenery and courtyards - made it feel less like a city hotel. Great to have underground parking though not cheap.

A Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at the Nicolaus Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and well taken care of. The free shuttle from the airport was a huge plus and made our arrival stress-free.

The room was spacious enough for our family, which was a pleasant surprise, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – we all slept so well. Even the little things were thoughtfully done – we absolutely loved the soap!

Now, the breakfast… hands down the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. There were so many choices, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and local specialties – something for everyone, and everything was delicious.

We also appreciated that there were plenty of good food options just a short walk up the road, which made dining out super convenient.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend!

Spa was nice. Location is bad. Was there on a weekend & could not get taxi or uber to town. Travelers beware! I had to walk 7 miles into town & back. I couldn’t drive as there was no parking. The hotel has a free airport shuttle but needs a set schedule for a van to town. Could’ve easily been done but they could care less. A/c works well. Also parking is paid & also breakfast was 60 euro for 2 people for 2 nights. Ouch! So not worth it. Will not be back.

Professional, Quiet, Comfortable….and easy to taxi to historic downtown area for dinner.

The hotel is stunning! The staff were all very lovely. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and it was incredible! Very reasonably priced and the buffet breakfast was top notch!

I loved the entrance of the hotel. Very clean and welcoming. The staff was excellent and extremely accommodating. The breakfast was very fresh with many options. The rooftop dining was good with an amazing view of the city. This was truly an upscale hotel with many amenities. I would definitely stay there again.

Although we spent little time in the hotel it was well maintained and staff was good. Had minor issues in the room, tables were not stable but they fixed them , the soap in the shower was empty but other than that the ac worked , the room was clean all good. It’s a bit away from the sea side so keep that in mind it is in a more business area

A lovely relaxing hotel, fabulous facilities and good food. Shuttle was perfect as was the spa, dressing gown and slippers added luxury. Staff could be more warm and friendly

Carlo the Maitr D in the dining room was gracious and helpful . The food was great. Service and staff in hotel all around was very accommodating. Spoke English too. Maurizio the shuttle driver was wonderful. He went out of his way to please. Also he wore many hats. He also cooked in the restaurant 👍 Hotel was very pretty and clean. A little bit away from city center. The only thing is we wish the rooms had more draws and hangers in the closets. And more towels. Although they always brought us some when we asked.

Mattress was not good.
Weird.
Everything was great. Looked new. Clean.
But mattress was cardboard.
Im not snooty about my sleep, but matteess was terrible. Rm 512.
Everything else was very good.

The hotel was pretty but a bit outdated. The door was a standard key.
