one of the best hotels I was staying in. Very clean, spacious room with a big bathtub and separate shower.
Good location, sizes of rooms.
Dated/stained decor, mattress firm/uncomfortable, old pillows, carpet overlayed into the bathroom/shower so brown and wet, small reception and one slow/small lift, small pool, overpriced and wouldn’t stay again.

The location was spot on, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was plenty big enough.
The room has no balcony, which is a huge bummer for a beach hotel since there’s nowhere to hang up wet clothes to dry for the next day. Also, the carpet floods easily right outside the bathroom, leaving the room smelling like mold and mildew. On top of that, the bathroom is completely open-concept with no door, meaning you can't even brush your teeth without waking up everyone else.

The location is brilliant.
Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience, especially considering the price we paid.
We were repeatedly woken up throughout the night by the lights in the room turning on by themselves. After it happened again on the second night, we reported it straight away. When we spoke to the staff about it, the response was, “Why did you not tell us on day one?” We explained that we had simply forgotten to mention it after the first night, but when the same problem happened again, we reported it immediately. We found the response quite disappointing and not particularly helpful.
What was even more disappointing was that we were not offered any apology or any attempt to make the situation better. In a hospitality business, we would have expected at least some form of goodwill gesture, such as breakfast, a discount, or another reasonable solution.
The room itself also felt unfinished and poorly maintained. There are still pencil measurements/markings visible on the ceiling from when the room was built, which gives the impression that the finishing work was never properly completed.
Another major issue was the bathroom. After having a bath or shower, the water spreads across the entire bathroom floor and even reaches the carpeted area. This is not only inconvenient but also feels like a basic design or maintenance issue that should have been addressed.
Overall, for the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard of accommodation and customer service. Unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed and would not choose to stay here again. There are many other wonderful places to stay in town.
