Cons:

Etablissement vétuste et bruyant en raison du passage de bateaux "festifs" sur la rivière (karaoke / Cris de fêtards ...)
+ Climatisation très bruyante.
Ainsi, les prix ne correspondent pas au standing de l'hôtel.Si l'établissement était rénové; il pourrait être formidable.

Wonderful Historic Gem
Pros:

This boutique hotel is a great little hideaway across the crazy river scene. It offers very personalized service. A special shout out to Rung whose smile lights up every room.
The breakfast and dinner are wonderful. I believe the dinner menu and service has a Michelin mention.

Exceptional Palazzo
Pros:

Highly recommend. Just across the river with access provided by the hotel's private boat and magically located away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The traditional building is such a refreshing change to the usual concrete jungle of high rise. Perfect lazy afternoons by the pool to cool off in the beautiful established tropical gardens. Breakfast is personalised and substantial and dinner in the Michelin rated restaurant is a must.
The staff and service was exceptional and extremely attentive and well exceeded our expectations. Big shout out to Rung who was always considerate with a great sense of humour. The only negative was mosquito's in our room. The staff did all they could to eliminate this problem and sprayed the room but unfortunately it was an ongoing issue especially at night when trying to sleep. Would definitely come back again and request an upstairs room away from the garden and mosquito's

Pros:

its a quiet oasis in Bangkok and a really friendly staff. Its also a beautiful old style building renovated with care of its historic importance.

Cons:

The price of the restaurant was much too high. The hotel is isolated and limits the eating options for people staying at the hotel. For that the restaurant was a big drawdown. While the food was great it was still over priced.

Pros:

Great location! Great staff! Really kind and fun people, open to helping with anything. Rung is amazing, so was Wah Doc and the rest of the staff. They really made the trip special.

We came for a family holiday and would definitely recommend for a special trip.

Vom Hotelgelände kann man direkt in ein ursprüngliches Wohngebiet , durchsetzt mit Hütten, Wasserbecken und Tierwelt (Warane) gelangen.
Auch toll der Bootstransfer , die Zuvorkommenheit des Personals , die fussläufig erreichbare Lage des touristischen Stadtteils und das Gesamtambiente.

Cons:

Keine Ein-/Ausstiegshilfe (Leiter) im Pool.
Getränkepreise überdurchschnittlich hoch.

Beautiful secluded spot with rooms that need some upgrades
Pros:

Praya Palazzo is a peaceful secluded spot, reachable only by boat, that is free of most of the noise and chaos of Bangkok. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, the gardens beautiful and the dining area and library full of old world charm. The "junior suite" room was decent but had some limitations. It was dark, had gaps in windows that admitted mosquitoes and smelled a bit musty. The toilet leaked and didn't always flush properly. Most problematic, we were on the ground floor and the neighbors upstairs tramped on the creaky, wooden floor at all hours, cutting into sleep quality. Some of these flaws are predictable because it's an old building. Maybe staff should put up sign asking for quiet after 10 pm or midnight? Overall, 5 stars for atmosphere and charm and 4 stars for the room and sleep quality.
