Fantastic hotel! The location is excellent, the team is incredibly caring and welcoming, and the rooms are very comfortable. One thing I would definitely recommend is having dinner at the hotel’s restaurant—the chef is simply outstanding, and the food is an experience in itself!
This is truly a hotel I would recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto. If I have the chance to return, I would definitely stay here again.
If anything, I would say to improve a bit the breakfast for more kids friendly. But it was really fine.
夏の暑い時期に流行したため水分補給が必須だったが、熱中症対策のドリンクをロビーに用意してくれていて助かった。

受付で対応してくださったスタッフさんの声が小さめ目で聞き取りにくかった。
お風呂の湯温は自分で調整する必要がある。
ちょうど良い温度だと思って貯めたら熱すぎてはいれる温度ではなくなっていた。
水を足して入れ直す必要があり、面倒だった。
お湯の温度が上がりすぎることに注意が必要。
少しの調整で湯温が大きく変わる。

We absolutely loved this hotel in Kyoto. From the moment of check in, the staff realised it had been a hot day and brought us drinks whilst doing the process. This was a nice touch for the family. The room we had was in a separate building - connected with a small walk way, but had two comfortable twin beds and a spacious tatami lounge area. The bathroom/ bathtub were a great size to accommodate our entire family and the bathtub in particular was perfect way to relax after a long day exploring. The location of the hotel was perfect and convenient as it was a short walk from the train station, making exploring easier to manage. The bar area at the front of the hotel was also a highlight, as the free beers, snacks and drinks for the kids made coming back to the hotel that extra special. The 7-11 next door was also convenient to have. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly consider coming back!
Very good hotel and very typical. We loved the room and the purist design.
The breakfast was a bit limited and not refilled enough.
