Important information:

The mandatory service charge includes the following and is subject to applicable state taxes:
• Cognac Breakfast. $25 value per room. Cognac has a pre-fixed breakfast menu with 11 entree options. The menu is priced at $25 per person. Includes coffee, juice, or tea. Guests are responsible for the tax and auto 20% gratuity.
• Umbrella Usage. All guest rooms have a Hotel 48Lex umbrella to use while staying at the hotel. The guest will be charged $25 if they decide to keep the umbrella.
• Two Bottles of 48Lex water daily. Guest will receive two bottles of water on their bed stand daily. $5.00 per bottle will be charged if additional bottles are requested.
• Fitness Center Access. Includes access to Peloton bikes and Tonal workout machine.
• Shoe Shine Service. Guests would need call the desk for the service. Each room has a shoe bag to request for the service.
• Press Reader. Access more than 7,000 top publications, newspapers and magazines from around the globe.

Perfect 4* hotel
Pros:

Perfect walking distance to shopping on 5th and to Time square. Rooms were very clean and balcony is spacious. Employees were hospitable as well.

Great value for your money
Pros:

I love the location in proximity to the conference I attended. I loved the lounge area and overall, the staff and their customer service was top tier.

Cons:

I didn't like the selection of food at breakfast. Had it not been for the voucher that I added to my stay, I would have eaten out for breakfast everyday. The staff during breakfast were incredibly kind, but I felt that the breakfast titles and descriptions were elaborate but what came on the plate was something quite basic including the taste.

Luckily, Ole and Steen was right in front of the hotel so if I didn't want to use my voucher I could just eat there for breakfast as well.

Pros:

The room was in a great location. We really liked our balcony, it was the best part of the room. We didn’t book a balcony room so that upgrade was great! The kitchen area is useless. Dishwasher but no dishes. Coffee carafe but no coffee pot. Everything was half broken and could use a replacement. Bathroom was spacious but 1 washcloth for 3 people for 2 nights? Also, only 2 towels each night. There’s no lobby just a little desk for check in. We didn’t try the restaurant. They give a $25 voucher for breakfast but each breakfast is $32 plus full price for other guests. It’s not a buffet so I’m not sure what you get for $32. In summary, it’s an excellent location and the balcony was great but for the price, we’ll try somewhere else next time.

Weekend Saved
Pros:

After an initially unpleasant experience our first night (broken thermostat=unbearable hot room, bed issues), Rachel went above and beyond to make sure we had an outstanding remainder of our stay. She moved us to a different, infinitely more comfortable room and helped save my wife's birthday weekend. Cannot say enough good things about her (rest of the FD staff was also great).

Even though its right by the road the room was quiet. The staff was amazing and the room was always spotless when it received service. Because of its location it was close to numerous restaurants, eateries and cafes for a diverse offering.

Der var ikke noget varmt vand på vores værelse. Vi fortalte det til personalet og de fandt hurtigt et andet værelse til os, så heldigvis ikke et større problem. Værelser var svære at få en god temperatur på, specielt hvis døren mellem soveværelse og det andet rum var lukket.

Perfect location, amazing view
Pros:

Incredible hotel, friendly and responsive staff, especially Rachel at the reception, the nicest I have ever met, wonderful location - in the center of everything, good breakfasts and THE VIEW!! I stayed in the Terrace Suite - the best. Thank you again. And recommended. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy NYC to the fullest with Hotel 48LEX New York.
