The mandatory service charge includes the following and is subject to applicable state taxes:
• Cognac Breakfast. $25 value per room. Cognac has a pre-fixed breakfast menu with 11 entree options. The menu is priced at $25 per person. Includes coffee, juice, or tea. Guests are responsible for the tax and auto 20% gratuity.
• Umbrella Usage. All guest rooms have a Hotel 48Lex umbrella to use while staying at the hotel. The guest will be charged $25 if they decide to keep the umbrella.
• Two Bottles of 48Lex water daily. Guest will receive two bottles of water on their bed stand daily. $5.00 per bottle will be charged if additional bottles are requested.
• Fitness Center Access. Includes access to Peloton bikes and Tonal workout machine.
• Shoe Shine Service. Guests would need call the desk for the service. Each room has a shoe bag to request for the service.
• Press Reader. Access more than 7,000 top publications, newspapers and magazines from around the globe.
• Access to Lex Lounge. Self-serve coffee available from 11am to 4pm. Happy Hour Wine service available daily from 5pm to 7pm.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Lovely property comfy and very clean

Neveikė lygintuvas, bet kadangi apsistojome vienai nakčiai, tai labai didelės problemos nebuvo. Ir kambario durys gana sunkiai atsidarinėjo, bet tai nesugadino kelionės nuotaikos.
Perfect location for us as we had tickets to two Broadway shows, spacious bathroom, nice view with the floor to ceiling windows
It was expensive
Today we had some difficulties because our flight was cancelled and we needed to leave New York. A lady working at front desk called Lina helped us a ton. She helped us book a rent a car so we could leave nyc and then hop onto our flight in another place. She was really helpful and kind along the stressful process!! We would like to congratulate her.

I booked a room to stay at the NYC location (48th & Lex), and it was not the best. Valet didn't come to the car, I had to wait even though no one else was ahead of me or waiting at the front desk. Both elevators were down and I was surprised with that news during check-in, they really should have called me or sent an email to notify me to give me the option to make other accommodations. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning was annoying to deal with because it doesn't stay on even if you put it to the lowest temperature setting.
The restaurant downstair The Cognac was very nice, but expensive for what you get.
Speaking of expensive, the price of the rooms are higher than average so that is the reason for most of my disappointment in my most recent stay. This hotel would be a lot nicer if the service was up to par and the elevators were working.
