Important information:

The mandatory service charge includes the following and is subject to applicable state taxes:
• Cognac Breakfast. $25 value per room. Cognac has a pre-fixed breakfast menu with 11 entree options. The menu is priced at $25 per person. Includes coffee, juice, or tea. Guests are responsible for the tax and auto 20% gratuity.
• Umbrella Usage. All guest rooms have a Hotel 48Lex umbrella to use while staying at the hotel. The guest will be charged $25 if they decide to keep the umbrella.
• Two Bottles of 48Lex water daily. Guest will receive two bottles of water on their bed stand daily. $5.00 per bottle will be charged if additional bottles are requested.
• Fitness Center Access. Includes access to Peloton bikes and Tonal workout machine.
• Shoe Shine Service. Guests would need call the desk for the service. Each room has a shoe bag to request for the service.
• Press Reader. Access more than 7,000 top publications, newspapers and magazines from around the globe.
• Access to Lex Lounge. Self-serve coffee available from 11am to 4pm. Happy Hour Wine service available daily from 5pm to 7pm.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Décevant et peu bienveillant
Pros:

L'emplacement parfait.
Le bar/restaurant "Cognac" en bas très sympa et nourriture assez bonne.
Belle vue quand on une chambre d'angle.
Lit confortable.

Cons:

150 dollars par nuit en plus pour mon petit chien dans la chambre et même pas une gamelle en inox pour lui donner à boire. C'est délirant !!!!!!!
J'ai payé pour que mon fils dorme dans le sofa bad et on ne m'a donné qu'un seul drap et pas de housse de couette ????
Pas de serviette éponge pour mon fils, seulement deux pour les parents.

Pros:

stayed here for a wedding block. room much smaller than appears in photos. rooms were not clean, especially the bathroom. there wa still pubic hair in the shower, and the bathroom room was broken.

Great hotel with an unpleasant surprise.
Pros:

Whereas the hotel and room were beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful. I noticed on our final charge days after that I was charged for a mini-bar item in-which our 3 guests DID NOT consume during our stay. This was not rectified.

Bonne localisation mais hôtel à raffraichir
Pros:

Très bon emplacement, chambre spacieuse et lit comfortable

Cons:

La chambre n’était pas correctement refaite à chaque fois, on n’a du réclamer plusieurs fois du savon, des verres, des bouteilles d’eau. La chambre était vieillotte, avec une salle de bain abîmé. On n’a eu une salle de bain PMR ce qui a changé notre expérience.
Les espaces communs n’était pas accueillant. Il n’y avais pas de réel lobby. Mauvaise communication avec le staff.

Central location with nice staff
Pros:

Central location, the room was pretty and towels and bathroom feel luxurious. The treadmill space was comfortable, liked wine in the lounge area. There was no hot water one morning but the manager compensated for it.

Cons:

The furniture needs an update or refresh. The breakfast policy. We never made breakfast a priority and missed it each day

Great location and Customer Service

If you’re looking for a stay in NYC that actually delivers on service, comfort, and attention to detail, Hotel 48LEX New York sets the standard.

From the moment I arrived, everything felt elevated but still genuinely welcoming. The rooms are beautifully designed with a modern, clean aesthetic, and the amenities strike that perfect balance between luxury and practicality. It’s one of those places where you can tell every detail has been thought through.

What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was Brady. He went above and beyond at every interaction. Professional, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, he made sure every aspect of my stay was seamless. Whether it was handling requests quickly, offering thoughtful recommendations, or just bringing a level of energy and care you rarely see, Brady completely set the tone for what hospitality should look like.

It’s rare to find a hotel that nails both the physical experience and the human one. This place does both effortlessly.

I’ll absolutely be back.

Lovely midtown Manhattan hotel
Pros:

I was in NYC for my counsin's wedding, at a different venue, but all the out of town wedding guests were booked to stay here. It's a lovely hotel in midtown Manhattan. Located within less than 1 mile walking distance to Times Square and Central Park. The room was standard sized (for what I'm used to in Las Vegas) but I hear was quite spacious for NYC standards. They have a nice lounge on the 2nd floor and we were able to use it on checkout day to hangout after checkout time before we needed to head to JFK that evening. The front desk with hold your luggage for you for no fee on check in day and checkout day, which we used and greatly appreciated.

Perfect 4* hotel
Pros:

Perfect walking distance to shopping on 5th and to Time square. Rooms were very clean and balcony is spacious. Employees were hospitable as well.
