Beautiful building, good location not far from Ferry.
No AC, room very hot and if open windows mosquitoes.
Nice building. Convenient for the tunnel.
Small un air-conditioned room. Somewhat amateurish and expensive for what one gets. Best suited for events, methinks.
The hotel is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. The dinner was excellent with a good choice and superb presentation. The rooms are comfortable with attractive decor.
The hotel is in a beautiful setting and is very peaceful. The dinner was excellent with a good choice of dishes, beautifully presented.
Evening meal very good but limited choice
Hand rail on bath
The room was comfortable and clean.
Although the food was very good, the problem was that we were eating in the bar as dogs were not allowed in the restaurant, and the restaurant was really busy; in fact, the staff were stretched and we were forgotten in the bar so our meal took 3 hours, which was far too long. Although everyone apologised, we felt abandoned and very sad as the food was much better than usual (we've been coming here for about 30 years). It is unusual in France not to allow well behaved dogs in the restaurant.
Dinner was excellent and our suite was great
It’s so near our arrival at Calais. We love that the chateau is so French and not just a run of the mill hotel .
The staff are amazing.
Na
Excellent dinner at a very reasonable cost.
The location sells itself as a great place to stop
No bathroom extras which would be expected in a 4star establishment
Absolutely beautiful chateau only 20 mins drive from Calais. Set in woodland and stunning interior. Food was exceptional both in quality and price and would highly recommend. We were staying in a separate annex on the grounds which was perfect for a family of 5 and very comfortably appointed. We will definitely be back and is a hidden gem in the area.
Dinner was amazing again... I often stop here commuting from UK to EU... In more then 10 years stopping at the Chateau I was never disappointed!
Everything at this hotel is 5*, the staff are exceptional the food in the restaurant is fabulous!!!
Very quiet, just near the autoroute, grounds to walk around in, and good sized rooms.
Not cheap but it’s a fine dining place, great food and for what is provided the food is excellent value for money given the quality but no “simple” options on the menu.
Friendly staff
