Great hotel and location. Service was great. Walk to lots of places. Cool room!!
We enjoyed our two-night stay at Hotel Mio, in an ideal location in Buenos Aires, in the elegant Recoleta neighborhood. Large room overlooking a quiet street. But our favorite was the back garden with a charming water fountain several stories high - shady, relaxing and lush, where we had breakfast each morning as well as al fresco drinks and charcuterie in the hotel wine bar, Verdot, and an excellent dinner at the hotel's restaurant, Rufino. Front desk staff was very helpful too.
One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had as a family of 9. The day we arrived happened to be my niece’s birthday, and, unprompted, the hotel receptionist, Luz, had a cake, candles and balloons ready for her for a small celebration. It was so sweet and thoughtful. The hotel itself was wonderful, the rooms clean, airy, bright with natural light, and comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent, but the staff made it even more special. After one day they learned what each of us liked and had our coffee and other preferences ready as soon as we sat down. 5-star customer service by Milo, Now, Axel, and April every morning. Highly recommend this hotel. Our family ranged from young pre-teens to older grandparents and we couldn’t have had a better stay in Buenos Aires.
Incredibly delightful experience at all levels. Reservations, front desk, restaurant, rooms were impressive. Luz, Denise, Meli, Noe, Axel, and April made all of the 9 of us feel at home.
We highly recommend Mio Buenos Aires with pleasure.

What a welcoming hotel with great amenities and a very friendly staff attentive to every guest’s needs.
Phenomenal 5 star experience! All of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A few small examples: Luz noticed it was our daughter’s birthday when we checked in and surprised her with a birthday cake, candles, and balloons. Meli, Noe, Axel, and April read us every morning for breakfast with our coffee of choice already prepared!
The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The lobby and meeting area very pleasant. The location perfect. We had a phenomenal time as a family of 9 (ages 12 to 77). Highly highly recommend. Truly a hidden gem of a hotel. We will tell any of our friends that traveled to Buenos Aires to stay here.
We stayed at Mio in Buenos Aires for a week in early March. One of the highlights was our morning breakfast! The food was fresh and delicious and the atmosphere of the dining room was always warm and friendly. Specifically, the wait staff of the breakfast crew, Meli, Noe, axel and April were so sweet to us- always smiling and friendly, and they even learned and remembered our coffee orders! They made our stay so enjoyable. The perfect way to start each day.
Great location and lovely morning walks nearby in parkland. Staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. Having a wine bar and a restaurant on site was excellent too
Stay was soured by toilet issues. After 1st day, toilet clogged. Maintenance came and "resolved". Clogged again. I was THEN informed that NO toilet paper is to go into the toilet to prevent clogging. (Note: this is not unique to the Mio - apparently many hotels in BA have this restriction...) After "fix" #2, I still had to call them 2 addt'l times, as the toilet never worked fully, even with only going "#1" (very frustrating and quite embarrassing). My main issue: WHY ISN'T THERE A SIGN? So many int'l guests (esp. USA) where this isn't the norm - nor is it necessary in some other hotels in BA.
Of equal note: Staff could not have been nicer! Very, very helpful and accommodating. (and agreed about the necessity for toilet signage).
Mio does not feel like a typical large 5 star hotel - much more of a well heeled boutique hotel (4*-ish, more than 5*). Great location for more mature adults - if younger and in need of a "vibe" and more people, I'd rec. staying in Palermo. Had a couple other minor qualms (missed bed makeup, very strong hotel perfuming), but would stay at Mio again.
Stayed 3 nights for holiday. The location is very near the recoleta cemetery and also quite close to Palermo by Uber . The room is big, very good bed and nice shower room . The tub in the room is quite quirky even if a bit odd. Breakfast is good with fresh food to order like avocado on toast etc . We had the room at a good rate, but have also seen rates much higher which would not be warranted
We have traveled far and wide. This hotel has the best staff all around
Excellent location and amenities
The breakfast team including Meli, Axel, Avril and Denise were fantastic
