We had a wonderful time in Scotland! Drove the NC 500 which was a trip in itself!

This was a wonderful place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary! Wonderful staff, great views and delicious meals.

Nette Gastgeber, toller Standort
Pros:

Besonders gut war, dass wir auf ein besseres Zimmer aufmerksam gemacht wurden, bevor wir überhaupt eingecheckt hatten. Der Blick war toll und der Gastgeber sehr nett.

Cons:

Die Betten war sehr schaukelig, aber für die Gegend im hohen Norden ist halt nicht alles perfekt. Es kam in der Dusche kein warmes Wasser, vielleicht hätte man es lange laufen lassen sollen.
Das Frühstück für den Preis gab es nur nach Nachfrage Bohnen, Käse oder Lachs. Alles in Allem für den Preis hätte ich mir mehr erhofft.

Top hotel! Heerlijk kleinschalig hotel gerund door een heel leuk stel. Voelden ons zeer welkom en hebben beide avonden voortreffelijk gegeten! De badkamer lijkt recentelijk vernieuwd en was perfect.

Hôtel isolé dans une nature splendide.
Très belle chambre spacieuse et confortable.
Site très calme, emplacement propice aux randonnées .
Excellent petit déjeuner préparé et servi par une dame chaleureuse et souriante.

Cons:

Alors là...Pas d'accord: un "accueil " (si l'on peut appeler cela un accueil) froid et irrespectueux, à la limite de l'injurieux. Ce comportement se répète lors de la commande d'un repas. Comportement d'autant plus inexpliquable que nous sommes des personnes âgées, polies, humbles et bienveillantes et qui du reste font tout leur possible pour s'exprimer en anglais....
Au nom de cette bienveillance, nous pouvons tenter de comprendre cette attitude par le fait d'une surcharge de travail ? Mais cela ne peut justifier un tel comportement.

Pros:

Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich in der Landschaft. Es sind genug Parkplätze vor dem B&B vorhanden. Die Betreiber sind sehr nett.
Das Zimmer war groß und hell. Alles war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war ein Genuss. Das Abendessen ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.
Wir waren hellauf begeistert. Uns gefiel dieser Geruch nach Bohnerwachs, wie in alten englischen Herrenhäusern.

Zu erwähnen ist, dass rundherum sehr wenig Einkehrmöglichkeiten bestehen. Die nächste größere Ortschaft ist Scourie, ca. 20 Minuten entfernt. Oder Kinlochbervie, ca. 10 Minuten entfernt.
