Pros:

Friendly welcome, traditional hotel, comfortable room, very good location

Cons:

Staff slow in taking breakfast order and slow to get cooked food. Lounge area seemed quite sparse (but good to have one!)

Comfortable stay .
Pros:

Central location, friendly competent staff, good food .

Cons:

Slight street noise , I was in a front facing room but in no way a deal breaker , it’s to be expected with the old fashioned sash windows .

Cons:

Room small, dark and no outlook (no 48)
No extra plug or charger point either side of bed - most people nowadays need this for phone to be able to keep in contact and use alarm facility. Had to unplug light to charge phone overnight.

Good experience for a "first-time" stay would not hesitate to stay again.
Pros:

Friendly, comfortable with good location - overall good impression & have already recommended the Tontine to a colleague travelling to Scotland next week

Cons:

Thought the cost of dinner was a little high, but the food was good.

Vier Biker suchen gute Lage in Schottlands Highlands. 👍✌️
Pros:

Die Lage und der Charme des Hotels. Sehr nettes Personal und sehr zuvorkommend. Ich war das zweite Mal da, weil es beim ersten Mal schon toll war.

Cons:

Lange Wege zu den Zimmern. Sehr anstrengend mit Gepäck.

Pros:

The location was excellent.

Cons:

The dinner menu was not what we had hoped for. We ate elsewhere. There were too many dogs in the public sitting areas. The chairs in the public areas were a bit too worn to be comfortable.
