Good location. Friendly efficient staff. Clean and comfortable
Nothing to dislike
Excellent
Room a wee bit tired - needs updating but very comfortable. Toilet modern.
Very quiet room with a lovely big bed.
The breakfast was good. The location of hotel is perfect - right in the middle of high street but being set back from road there was very little road noise.
Not a lot of parking spaces at rear of hotel.
Super central and a lovely old building with character.
Staff are lovely, friendly, professional and helpful. The lounge is a relaxing place to have drinks, small plates and chat. Love that is dog friendly too.
Rooms clean with a super comfortable bed. And sweet little toiletries in the bathroom.
We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it is an impressive room and the menus are great; (our friends we were meeting had organised elsewhere).
Book a window seat overlooking the river.
Fabulous cooked breakfast including piles of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
This place is good.
Peebles is too ….
Gorgeous little shops with stuff you didn’t even know you needed until you saw them
We ate at Gaucho Argentinian steakhouse (and lots more than steak) …. truly fabulous.
If I was being picky the car park is a little tight if full but there is lots of free off street parking at the rear and close by.
Very attentive staff, dinner was delicious and the choices for breakfast fabulous 👌

The location is perfect.
Great location and very helpful, pleasant staff. Breakfast was good and entire stay was good value for money.
Our room (10) had been decorated recently but the furniture is very "tired". Three steps up into the bathroom would not suit everyone !! This room was also above the lounge and on the evening we were there this area was quite noisy (with one large table singing a lot !!)
Staff were amazing, Peebles is awesome, view was exceptional, dinner was sensational too 😊
