Pleasant stay, good location for a couple of nights in York
Pros:

Very well placed for walking into town. Good breakfast. Pleasant staff.

Cons:

Standard double room quite small. Very little room between bottom of bed and wall which television was mounted on. Very easy to stub toes or bruise shins while trying to manoeuvre around bed. Car park charge expensive at £18 per night for an unsecured back yard

Pros:

Nice room with fridge and cooking facilities. Bed very comfortable. Good shower and bath. Option for breakfast and nice lounge area.

Excellent stay!
Pros:

Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location with a lovely walk to work through the museum gardens and along the river. Excellent breakfast.

Cons:

Chairs in the room could be more forgiving.

Pros:

Perfect location a short walk from the city centre. Parking available if pre booked was fantastic.
Fantastic hotel with gym, sauna and plunge pool.
Fabulous garden area with seating too.
Beautiful bedroom with luxurious bedding....super comfortable bed. Ensuite shower room was wonderful with toiletries supplied.
Fantastic breakfast was included in my rate.
All staff were friendly and super helpful

Amazing all round.
Pros:

Very clean indeed. The staff went out of their way to help with everything they possibly could. The beds were so comfortable & the room was massive. The breakfast was cooked to order every morning. Just about anything you could want.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was that the shower floor was too slippy. A silly thing really but everything else was exceptional. Amazing.

A lovely characteristic and clean place, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful relaxing garden to the rear, onsite parking and location close to the city centre. We would definitely return.

Cons:

We were on the very top floor, no lift and would be tiring for older people (there are rooms on lower floors though). Being on the top floor during a heatwave meant the room was very hot too… they did open the windows and supplied a fan so I can’t complain too much. The room was very nice and comfortable otherwise.
