Room was very hot even with fan which we had to leave running all night and was noisy

The building is very old which is lovely, but in terms of practicality isn’t ideal! We both had to sit down in the bath (couldn’t stand for a shower) because the ceiling was so low.

La camera è davvero poco insonorizzata, si sentiva la tv della stanza accanto come se fosse nella nostra.

Very steep stairs to top floor. Being in our 70s/80s we would have preferred a room on lower floors. However we do appreciate the historical age of the hotel and what goes with it. Would definitely stay there again.

The steps are very steep as its on the highest floor, and as a person with difficulty walking I found this very challenging and needed assistance from my partner to navigate these.

Shower run correct temperature then cold the so hot you had to step away or get scolded apart from that had a good one night stay
The attitude of the staff was excellent. Very friendly and always happy to help. The breakfasts are very good and a good range of options. The location - in the main square - is excellent and although central it is very quiet late at night : which is good for sleeping.
