Great value for money in prime location
Pros:

Excellent location. Lovely breakfast. Good value for money.

Cons:

Although the details mentioned a lot of steps the last flight were very steep and narrow which was difficult to climb with a suitcase. However once up the stairs the room was perfect with a prime view of the square.

Pros:

I liked the ambience, the style, the history.
The age and character were cool, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Loved the location and town, beautiful shops and church.

Cons:

Breakfast was a little over cooked each morning.
The beds were not comfortable . The actual bed and the mattress, waking each day to stiff back and necks.

Location was great, room and breakfast was okay

Cons:

The staff told us that they would register our car on their iPad, as the iPad or the network was not working when we arrived. We were surprised later when we received a letter from the car rental company saying that we had to pay £100 as a fee. I contacted the hotel via Booking.com, by phone, and by email, but never received a response. This was very disappointing as it was their fault and cost me a lot of money (not to mention the price of the hotel itself). So beware — they might not actually help you even if they say they will. I would be happy to withdraw my criticism if they contacted me and reimbursed me for this amount.

Fantastic location and the pub food is good too.
Pros:

Location in Stow is excellent. Great to stay in such a historic building.

Adequate , convenient location
Pros:

Family with 2year old put on top floor very steep steps . Not a good idea at all

Breakfast was average wide variety but lacked quality

Cons:

stairs too steep
Some of the renovation is not in keeping with age and character or building

Very good and pleasantly surprised
Pros:

Friendly staff, good food and variety and parking

Cons:

Only 1 issue is that the stairs are dark on 2 flights and not easy to see steps so the dark steps just need a white painted edge on them as some others are

Het was maar voor twee nachten om te slapen,maar toch viel het tegen!
Pros:

Incheken ging vlot, gratis parking was aanwezig. Ook het personel waw zeer vriendelijk

Cons:

Kamer was klein en de plavondhoogte was niet toerijkend voor een person van 183cm (solder kamer) stijle trap welke zeer smal was en met koffers zeer slecht te doen was.

Easy check in, parking behind the property was good, breakfast served freshly and was quick

Cons:

Bit of a climb to our room, if elderly and less mobile you might struggle to get up and down the steep stairs.
