3* at best, tired, damp and poor service

Cons:

•no basic things like water or bath robes
•room smelt damp the whole time
•no hot water - had to call an engineer
•room above was serviced with a vacuum cleaner and loud banging at 10pm at night
•check-in was poor. No communication. No water offered while waiting for room that wasn't ready
•gym was poor quality - lots of equipment faulty or dangerously broken
•toilets in the gym have buckets collecting water pouring from the ceiling
•Luggage took 30mins to be delivered
•no TV channels - no smart TV
•filthy curtains which don't fully close
•no soundproofing
•staff are not kind or helpful at all
•complained on the day of checkin and nothing changed
•breakfast was OK but no tea/coffee offered until you've been there for an hour

All in all, 3.5* at best - definitely not 5* at all

Experience fell short from a 5 star hotel
Cons:

This unfortunately didn’t feel like a 5-star experience. The room felt dated, basic amenities were missing, and we experienced a water leak and drilling noise. There was also no bellman or valet assistance upon arrival, so I had to unload my own luggage before someone eventually came over. Getting the car also took surprisingly long, considering it was parked just a 1–2 minute walk from the lobby. The hotel seemed understaffed overall. The staff were nice, but the property would benefit from refurbishment and better service training.
