Not what I expected
Pros:

The location is amazing and close to all amenities.

Cons:

Our room was not made up once in 3 days. There was a power outage which the host was aware about but the guests weren't informed. I sent a msg at 6am to ask what the problem was and only got a response after 8 because the host was unavailable. They should have informed guests of the outage and if tea or coffee for example was wanted, the main kitchen could be used. I also had to have an ice cold shower as there was no hot water folloiwng the outage.

Paradise!

The list is to long. Everything! From the moment I walked through the gate, where I was already greeted and helped by someone with my luggage, the tour of the establishment and where to find everything, till the moment I stepped into my suite. The service was a 10/10. Every single person I had contact with went above and beyond to answer any questions and to make sure I am being taken care off. Jeanette, the host was constantly in contact to check in. She even organised a cheese and charcuterie board for me, for free. All queries and questions were promptly answered. The views were out of this world. It was peaceful and so serene. The suite was beyond beautiful. I am coming back soon.

Für das Gebotene passt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider überhaupt nicht.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an einer Straße (Sackgasse), die stark von der lokalen Auto- und Motorrad-Poserszene genutzt wird, mit dem damit verbundenen Motorenlärm.
Das Frühstück ist sehr eintönig und muss bereits am Vorabend über einen Zettel dem Personal mitgeteilt werden. Ebenso muss man schon die Uhrzeit mitteilen. Das mag wohl für den Eigentümer für die Planung und Vorbereitung Sinn machen. Das geht aber natürlich auf Kosten der freien Zeitplanung der Gäste.
Das Equipment im Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Zum Beispiel, das Sofa im Zimmer war komplett durchgesessen. Die Liegen am Pool sind alt und die Auflagen aus Plastik sind nicht wirklich einladend. Zu keiner Zeit unseres 10 tägigen Aufenthaltes waren die Eigentümer anwesend, sonst hätten wir gerne einige Kritikpunkte direkt adressiert.

"Honesty bar" er et veldig bra tilbud som vi benyttet!

Vår suite, Seadeck luxury, har egen takterasse med fantastisk utsikt over False Bay, Stellenbosch med flotte fjellkjeder osv.

Lytte til dønningene og bølger som slår inn mot bergknausene nedenfor gjesterommet!

Vi hadde frokost 2 ganger ... servert i suiten. Den første gangen var den svært god. Men andre gangen var den ikke bra: omeletten var ikke gjennomstekt tilfredsstillende og den inneholdt kun delvis de ingrediensene vi hadde bestilt/inneholdt faktisk noen ingredienser vi IKKE ønsket. Heller ikke andre deler av frokosten oppfylte vår bestilling. Skuffende og for sent å gjøre om på.

Vår suite (Seadeck luxury) er framstilt i glanset form på nettet. Soverom og stue er som forventet, baderom er svært enkelt og trenger en oppgradering i forhold til forventninger om luksus suite. Kjøkken er greit nok med fasiliteter som annonsert. Dårlig belysning på kjøkken og bad. Ellers veldig bra.

Bikini beach er en Blue Flag beach, noe vi IKKE kan forstå. Bitteliten strand, lite sand ute i vannet og store tildels skarpe steiner gjorde det krevende å komme seg trygt uti og inn på tørt land igjen (jeg som skriver dette er tidligere konkurransesvømmer og behersker det våte element godt). Det eneste positive er badevakter (absolutt et behov her!) og gode toaletter/dusj fasiliteter. Badesko anbefales dersom man tross alt vil bade her.
