Crowne Plaza Dubai Jumeirah by IHG

I book a room for a christmas treat to my friends, the team really anticipate and go above and beyond. They upgrade my room even without asking for it and extend their excellent service to my friends. The room was huge and comfortable. The club lounge and reception are the best hightlights. I would like to special mention to Ms Jolor for the exceptional service and friendliness, to Sharmain who are very welcoming and accommodating, to Iris who is very helpful late at night they are working at the reception. The bartenders at the Docks are fantastic! We will definitely come back!

The hotel environment was comfortable. We visited during the National Day holidays, and with Christmas approaching, the hotel was decorated with blooming fresh flowers, which was delightful to see. The service attitude was very good, and the staff were warm and friendly, especially the restaurant service, which was attentive and thoughtful. We hope to stay here again next time.

This place is a comedy of errors. I often don’t bother writing hotel reviews, but I’m taking the time to write this one in hopes that they read it, and actually try to do something to improve the service.
I’m a bit shocked at all the positive reviews here to be honest, but maybe I just caught this Crowne Plaza on a bad week.
I’m an IHG Platinum card holder for 8 years in a row (with a couple of years of Diamond in there pre-covid), so I’m not unfamiliar with staying in IHG hotels, and a lot of them have been Crowne Plazas.
Upon checking in, the friendly desk woman assigned me to a room at the far end of the hall on the 4th floor (top floor for rooms). Seems like a good location, but upon entering the room I immediately noticed a loud humming sound. Turns out that the room was right under the air conditioning compressors on the roof of the building. I called down to ask for a new room and was told that there were no other rooms available, but that they could move me ‘tomorrow’. I was tired so accepted the explanation, ordered some food (more on this later), and went to bed. But that noise drove me crazy, so around 1am I packed my stuff and went to check out and move to another hotel. At the desk, of course they immediately found me another room. But with zero apology, nor explanation for how a room magically became available in the middle of the night.
Next was room service: Before the above noise related drama, I ordered a simple tomato soup, salad, some bread roles, and a diet Pepsi with ice and lemon. I was told it would be 20 minutes, but 45 minutes later it still wasn’t there. I called back and they said it would be 5 more minutes. Sure enough – 5 minutes later it arrived. Cold soup, no bread, no glass, ice, nor lemon, and a salad so small that I finished it in 8 bites. All for the bargain price of $30. And when I called to try to have this remedied, no one seemed to speak English anymore – so I gave up.
The next day around noon I thought I’d go to the gym. Nope. Closed for the day for ‘unscheduled emergency maintenance’.
The rooms are okay and have clearly had a recent facelift, but they fixed up the rooms, and skipped the bathrooms. Bathrooms are old and outdated, and both of the rooms that they gave me had running toilets that required a lot of button-jiggling to stop them from running.
Clumping body lotion that hasn't been filled in probably months, sticky coat hangers in the closets, musty smell in the room (both of them) and an average (at best) breakfast.
Chat GPT says there are over 800 hotels in Dubai, so my advice to you, dear reader, is to give this Crowne Plaza a hard pass and find something else. Crowe Plaza used to be a trusted brand with a good balance between price and quality, but many of them have been slipping in recent years. This is a prime example of that slide.

I’ve stayed at the Crowne Plaza Jumeirah several times over the past few years, and once again it’s been an absolutely wonderful experience. All of the staff are exceptionally personal, friendly, and helpful — genuinely some of the best people you could hope to meet. Their professionalism, training, and the way they work together as a team really stand out and create such a welcoming atmosphere.

The breakfast buffet is fantastic, with a great variety of quality food, and the lounge service is excellent. Every part of
the stay was enjoyable — from check-in to checkout. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. I’ll definitely be back again, just as I have in the past. Just a little bit a few of the friendly personnel who are magnificent at all times, specailly front office sumir was excellent service . Front office manager boutrosh agata ,shajahan very well problems handling so ankush great job.

Last week my wife and I had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Jumeirah. The service throughout our stay was truly outstanding. The next morning, we went for breakfast the buffet was excellent and the service was top-notch. I would rate it 10/10.A special mention to Mr. Hani the manager and his team for being so attentive and ensuring everything was perfect. We truly appreciated their warm hospitality and professionalism.

We went for a party in the ballroom at this hotel.The atmosphere was good with matching service by Anu&Deepak.Overall worth having a party for about 25-50 persons.

I honestly don’t even know where to start because crowneplaza dubai jumeirah is just amazing. From the moment you arrive, you’re treated like absolute royalty. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and helpful — they go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for you, and you can genuinely tell they care.
The hotel itself is stunning. Super elegant and peaceful, but still feels relaxed and not too “stiff.” There are two big outdoor pools which are perfect for chilling in the sun, and they even have an indoor pool that’s really nice if you want something quieter or if the weather isn’t ideal. Specially sumir sikhar sathik was excellent treat and warm welcoming was next level . As well receptionist sharmine manager sahajahan, boutrosh excellent care with problems handling recomended hotel .💕

stayed at Crowne Plaza Jumeirah for about 2–3 weeks, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Dubai. The hotel is very clean, well-located, and reasonably priced—but what truly made it special was the staff.

Everyone—from the doormen and receptionists to the housekeeping team—was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. They treated me like a long-time friend, not just a guest.
