Wonderful staff

Excellent facilities, outstanding staff.
Pros:

Hotel was chosen in very difficult circumstances because of its proximity to Aberdeen Hospital. The facilities were excellent but the outstanding staff make the hotel special. All our expectations were exceeded. Hope to revisit in better circumstances.

Couldn’t have asked for more support at a difficult time of visting.
Pros:

The staff were amazing, can’t recommend them enough. Felt like family. It’s a beautiful building in an excellent position.

Cons:

Just had a few plumbing problems with the bathroom, which were rectified very quickly.

A bit expensive for the standard of accommodation.
Pros:

It was very close to the hospital which is why I chose it.
The staff were all very friendly and efficient.
The breakfast was very good.

Cons:

The situation of my room was awkward for a 74 year old with a stick to get to. Although the lift went up to the first floor, I then had to go up and down some stairs in order to find my room. To be fair I didn't ask for an accessible room but perhaps my room could have been changed on seeing my obvious lack of mobility.

Friendly, comfortable and good location Atholl Hotel
Pros:

Great parking. Lovely hotel, friendly, clean and comfortable. Breakfast plenty to choose from the menu. Evening meals were great again plenty to select from menu.

Reunion weekend
Pros:

Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was very good.

Cons:

The only issue as a person who struggles a bit on stairs was the fact that my room,although on the ground floor required the use of the lift to the first floor followed by a staircase down to the room. Not ideal, but I managed. However if the lift wasn't there or out of action I would have really struggled.

Authentic Scottish Hospitality
Pros:

It is a traditional Scottish Hotel where the hotel property is maintained to a high standard to give its authentic Scottish ambience.

The Manager and staff are extremely friendly ,polite and helpful .

The stay was a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Good value accomodation in Aberdeen.
Pros:

Friendly and efficient staff. Good size and clean rooms. Easy to locate and park.

Cons:

Very firm beds and pillows but overall good value for money. Need to use transportation to get into city and during peak this took over 30 minutes. Much quicker however non peak and easy to navigate.
