Please note that the car park is located at the back of the hotel, as the entrance is on a pedestrian-only street. Please inform the property in advance if you wish to use the parking.

Please note that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Please note that children under 16 years old are not allowed at the Katharo Spa.

We inform you that after the communication and meeting held with the Benalmádena City Council, they inform us that from 5th November 2024 and until further notice, the following streets will be closed to traffic and under construction for sanitation, flooring and wiring of the same:

A great hotel in a perfect location
Pros:

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and it never fails to impress us. The location is fantastic if you want a quiet stay away from the busy coastal hotels but there are still plenty of excellent bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The hotel has had some refurbishment over the last few years and all areas are well presented and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

A better spa and a view from the room would have improved our satisfaction.
Pros:

Location, people, romantic boutique atmosphere. Sauna was hot.

Cons:

The room was indoors with no view. Breakfast was missing vegetables and was a bit poor. The spa was very noisy (waterfalls), and the water in the jacuzzi was not very clean.

Buena experiencia volveremos!
Pros:

La habitación era muy bonita y las camas muy cómodas. El hotel en general estaba muy limpio y el personal fue muy amable. El spa es súper relajante; volveríamos solo por eso. El desayuno estaba muy bueno y era variado (pregunten por los huevos revueltos, ¡están muy ricos!).

Cons:

Las almohadas podrían ser un poco más voluminosas. El primer día que llegamos solo había una toalla grande en la habitación y además encontramos un ticket de compra de otro cliente en el suelo.
Las sábanas ya se veían un poco viejas; sería buena idea renovarlas, especialmente tratándose de un hotel de 4 estrellas.
El personal fue amable en general, pero en el restaurante por la noche un camarero hizo un comentario poco apropiado sobre mi físico comparándome con mi amiga, que es más delgada. Normalmente no me molestan este tipo de comentarios, pero después le dijo a mi amiga que se me notaba en la cara que me había molestado, lo cual no me gustó nada.
Gastamos 125 € en una cena para dos y recibir comentarios así por parte de un camarero hace que no queramos volver al restaurante. Es una pena, porque el restaurante está dentro del hotel. El parking tiene fugas de agua.

Leider enttäuschend - wir haben für diesen Preis etwas besseres erwartet
Pros:

Das Zimmer war hübsch eingerichtet. Der Blick von der Terrasse im Stehen sehr schön. Das Spa war toll. Die Lage mitten im Ort sehr praktisch. Man konnte Restaurants und Geschäfte zu Fuß erreichen. Der Innenhof mit Brunnen sehr schön. Frisches Obst zum Frühstück. Parkhaus geräumig und günstig.

Cons:

Wir kamen an einem Sonntag an. An der Rezeption war nur eine zierliche, freundliche Dame, die uns erklärte, dass sie uns nicht mit dem Gepäck helfen kann und es ist auch niemand da, der uns helfen könnte. Normalerweise ist das kein Problem. Aber in diesem Hotel hatten wir ein Zimmer in den oberen Stockwerken. In der Beschreibung steht zwar, dass die Zimmer in den oberen Stockwerken nur über eine Treppe erreichbar sind, aber nicht, dass es ein bis zwei Stockwerke sind. Wir mussten also unsere Koffer mit Gepäck für drei Wochen selbst über zwei Stockwerke hinaufschleppen.
In einem Hotel dieser Kategorie wäre erst mal eine bessere Organisation angebracht, dass auch am Sonntag jemand da ist, der älteren Herrschaften mit dem Gepäck hilft. Zudem wäre auch eine bessere Kommunikation erforderlich. Ich hatte erst eine Knie-OP. Das Treppensteigen fällt mir nicht leicht und wenn ich gewusst hätte, dass ich zwei Stockwerke in mein Zimmer habe, hätte ich ein anderes Hotel gewählt.
Das Zimmer war für diese Kategorie auch nicht angemessen. Es war schon ziemlich abgewohnt und der Fön im Bad ein einfacher Schwimmbadfön. Die Dusche auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht angemessen.
Das hat die letzten 4 Tage unserer dreiwöchigen Andalusienreise leider etwas verdorben.
Das Frühstück war etwas lieblos. Die Frühstückstische nicht gedeckt. Man musste sich sein Geschirr und das Besteck selbst organisieren. Leider gab es nur abgepackte Cornflakes oder Schokocrispies. Kein Müsli oder einfache Haferflocken.
Dieses Hotel war das zweitteuerste auf unserer dreiwöchigen Andalusienreise aber leider das schlechteste.
Auch entsprechen die Fotos auf Booking.com nicht unserem Zimmer. Unsere Terrasse war ummauert, so dass man im Sitzen nicht viel von der Aussicht hatte. Auf den Fotos werden nur Balkons mit Gittern gezeigt.

Restaurant - what a gem
Pros:

We came across this place purely by chance walking around the pueblo. We saw an interesting courtyard and wondered in - beautiful. Then we saw the restaurant! What a find, stunning food - don’t miss this

Charme absolu, splendeur d'antan ...
Pros:

Une adresse qui donne envie de revenir aux jours plus chauds pour profiter de tout l'hôtel et cette superbe piscine et toit solarium. Restaurant excellent, service chaleureux, sur les hauteurs de la vieille ville.
Chambre spacieuse, vue superbe , belle terrasse transats.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner mériterait d'être d'une qualité un peu supérieure en accord avec le standing de l'hôtel et du restaurant, mais cela reste très correct et service attentionné.
