Location and staff

Cons:

The bar of soap was just a very small sliver cut from a soap bar of the lowest quality. The toilet paper roll was already used; there was only about a quarter left. The water in the bathroom was cold, and it leaked out from the sides of the shower tray onto the bathroom floor. When the windows were closed, they did not block the noise at all — it was as if you were sitting in the street. The room furniture was old.
I would rather pay 5–10 dollars more and get a better room in a nearby hotel.

A warm welcoming stay
Pros:

Excellent staff and service. The staff were always friendly, polite and available to help with any requests. The reception staff, porters and maintenance staff were all very professional. Their housekeeping service was attentive. The room was spacious, clean and modern, with a fridge, kettle and complimentary coffee and water. The shower was hot and towels and linen were clean. The breakfast was included and had a good range of typical Lebanese hot and cold foods. The location was perfect, near Hamra, but just enough away to not have too much noise from the street.

Cons:

Nothing, everything was great.

A very nice stay!
Pros:

Welcoming staff, good buffet breakfast, correct quality/price ratio, good location for going, even on foot for a 30-40 min. walk, to Martirs Square Statue, Zaituna Bay and Corniche - Raouche Rocks. A very good choice for exploring Beirut and feeling Lebanese hospitality! Best wishes from Romania!
