Pros:

Breakfast was excellent - except toast was cold( because it was brought out too soon)

Cons:

Extremely low pressure with the cold water in bathroom
Evening meals far too expensive

Comfortable hotel on the sea front with easy access to the town
Pros:

The staff were excellent and we received a lovely upgrade after some personal circumstances were explained. The receptionist, small, slight lady was so kind.
The breakfast and service was excellent
Great location as a base to discover the coastline

Cons:

We were surprised and disappointed by the number of dogs allowed in the public lounges.
Also where some were allowed on seats. I haven't experienced this in a hotel of this standard before.

It was very over priced.
Pros:

Good location. Lovely dining room.

Cons:

Our room. Small and cramped. Had a sea view but couldn’t place a chair by the window as bed was in the way.
Breakfast on the last day was very slow. Poor service.

Lovely people
Old world service and charm
Great breakfast
Fantastic location and on site parking - a big plus in Aldeburgh

Cons:

Housekeeping needs improvement
We had issues with our first room due to there being dirty room service food plates in 2 drawers
We were moved immediately with no fuss to an upgraded room which was greatly appreciated
However my wife then found a used shower cap in the bathroom
