Welcoming staff, comfortable lounges with LOTS of places to sit and chat, great dinners within the hotel.
Very good quality sleep was had by all and a very quiet room (11) - will stay again sometime.
Full marks Wentworth there was NO piped music anywhere !!!
The young staff were very good apart from basic hygiene- please train them not to put their fingers around the rims of teacups and glasses when serving drinks. Also perhaps serving the ladies first when dealing with us oldies (generation thing no doubt).

The service was second to none. Breakfast and dinner were also very high quality. The whole family, including our mid-20s children thoroughly enjoyed their stay.
Great location with a very comfy bed.
We had a sea view room which made the stay special. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast with our small, well behaved dog felt a little ostracising as we were seated on our own in the bar area at the back of the hotel where the tables were too small.
I thought the restaurant area looked so much more inviting and wondered if a part of that room could be allocated for guests with dogs to use. It would feel more inclusive and be more in line with their claims to be a dog friendly hotel.
Breakfast and Dinner menu choices were very good and tasty and the service was friendly and helpful and prompt!
We like to sleep with an open window, this was not possible to achieve while maintaining security.
This is just a nit pick.
Always a warm reception and often see the same people each time we visit, people of a like mind who appreciate the Wentworth and all it has to offer .. and definitely our “go-to” preference! Traditional Hospitality and Caring Staff.
This year we were particularly impressed by the increased choice on the menu with a daily specials menu covering all three courses, and a separate menu for Vegetarians is also offered covering all three courses.
Whichever menu you choose the food is of excellent quality and good portion size to enable three courses to be enjoyed without excess.
Cleanliness, Atmosphere and a low noise level are all appreciated, the location can not be bettered and parking is available on site.

The Wentworth Hotel is the most relaxing hotel that I know, The staff are exceptional and have been there long enough to ensure that we are recognised and welcomed in the warmest way. Open fires, excellent food and ambience second to none. We go there just to eat and also to stay in one of their most comfortable, spotless rooms. Sea views are an optional extra and to be recommended.

Our neighbour gave us a voucher for a three course Sunday lunch for Christmas. As always, we couldn't fault anything. We both had the roast beef which delicious. Melt in the mouth. We love the old school charm, service and elegance of the hotel. Can't wait for our next visit, which won't be long!
I loved everything about this hotel. Great location, comfortable room, lovely lounge areas to relax, great food and staff. We will definitely be back!
