Welcoming, warm, beautifully old and yet modern!
Pros:

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, property is just lovely!

Cons:

I don’t want to be negative because we loved the property! Just at the moment I have arthritis in both my knees so the amount of stairs was a little difficult for me!

Fabulous Find !
Pros:

We stayed for one night here, to reset and relax, after a taxing year (I lost my father). Having stayed for years in various "Pig" Hotels , we had quite high standards, for this type of boutique hotel. Eventually we got sick of the prices going up, and the standards going down. So we branched out to a new group.
The Bay tree far exceeded our expectations! The room (Windrush, Deluxe Double) was roomy, with its own sitting area and separate bedroom and bathroom. It was clean, quiet. and felt really welcoming. The service was friendly and professional, it felt like the staff really cared about our stay. (a rare authenticity in the world of hotels). The food was lovely. The waiting staff continued the friendly yet professional service. With a good knowledge of the menu. Parking was easy and in the hotel. The garden is a nice outside space if you just want to stay on site and relax. The only odd thing was there was no phone to phone down to reception, so later when we needed something , my husband had to go down to reception . Not a complaint , but a bit inconvenient. Burford is a 5 min walk away, full of lovely boutique shops, bakeries and restaurants. What a fabulous find! Amazing value. ( We booked the offer with £60 towards dinner ,and breakfast included) .....We will definitely be back, and will explore other places in their portfolio. I really felt reset and relaxed . Thankyou to all the staff at The Bay Tree for your contribution to our stay. So glad we found Cotswolds Inns and Hotels, and especially The Bay Tree.

A delight from start to finish.
Pros:

A delightful hotel in a perfect location for exploring Burford and surrounding Cotswold towns and countryside. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the rooms clean and comfortable. We had a pre-dinner drink in the comfortable and cosy bar followed by a most delicious evening meal. Breakfast was equally as delicious and on both occasions we were looked after by friendly and welcoming staff.

Cons:

Nothing!
