Old world style hotel
Shower dirty visible mould, cracked tiles in bathroom, small things, no shower cap, why not offer breakfast?
Reception staff member was friendly and welcoming. The historic building itself is amazing! Location is fantastic. Bed was comfortable.
Booked a balcony room as a special treat for our get away for nearly $300 a night and was disappointed as soon as I walked into the room. Size of room was smaller than what the photos depicted, furniture on balcony was cheap, worn and dirty (nothing enticed us to enjoy the balcony), the bathroom was dated with a caravan style shower cubical, basin from the 70s and no ventilation, and the restaurant and bar were closed. Not worth the money. Won't be staying there again despite the grandness of the venue itself.
Vintage feel, friendly staff, food & drink available.

Beautiful grand hotel
Lovely decor and ambience
It is the 3rd time we have stayed at this Hotel
!
Great central location
Nothing
We loved it 👍
Excellent location.
Could do with a refurb. Dining room quick to move us on.
Beautiful old property- well maintained
Great location.
The shower is a bit pokey but the water was nice and hot.
The staff were warm and welcoming. The historical building itself was gorgeous and very inviting. The room was spacious and comfortable and we loved our balcony views of the water. It was close to local shops and the bus stop which we used for the shuttle bus to the Q Train. The meal in their restaurant in Friday night was delicious. Couldn't find any faults.
Nothing.
The service was excellent, and the food in the restaurant was very enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location, and the historic character of the property gives it a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The rooms were quite dated and would benefit from some refurbishment. Greater attention to cleaning and maintenance would make a significant difference. Both our balcony and our friends’ balcony next door were covered in pigeon droppings, and it appeared that the outdoor areas had not been properly cleaned for quite some time. In addition, the vanity top in our bathroom was noticeably water-damaged and in need of replacement. While the room was functional, these issues detracted from what could otherwise have been a much more enjoyable stay.
The hotel has a lovely historic charm and felt very clean throughout our stay. The room itself was perfectly fine, well-maintained, and offered a comfortable environment. The historic atmosphere from that era gives the property a unique and interesting character.
Because it is an older style hotel, some of the facilities and amenities feel a bit dated. It lacks some of the modern luxuries or updates you might find in a newer property. However, it still functioned well enough for a basic weekend getaway.
Great room with good facilities. Had dinner infectious night and food and service was good.
A small table desk would have been helpful
the location was great, the building is old and heritage style and that's beautiful.
The staff were friendly and welcoming,
its walking distance form everything and that's great
our king room was huge
beds were hard and not great- sagged in the middle
Bathroom was so old and run down, no shower screens only an open bath / spa tub that's cracked and dangerous to get in and out of.
power points all on the floor level- so you have to get on the floor to plug in the kettle and your phone. No mod cons in the room at all. its very old and tired.
Location is good
Bed was very uncomfortable & I couldn’t have a shower. Water pressure very low
Great location, within walking distance to everything.
Poor ventilation, very stuffy.
Central location and old world ambience.
Don’t stay here if you have mobility issues as parking a walk away and no elevator so need to climb flights of stairs with luggage.
