The rooms were old. Definitely not a Hilton standard!!
The rating of the hotel is not appropriate. The first room was in terrible shape, worn-out carpet and a bad smell. They move me to another one that was Ok. the hotel needs renovation baldly.
So poor
Staff are not empowered at all
The location was pretty nice. The rooms weren’t that impressive tbh.
It’s was okay but not wow.
Worthe staying in the property
Very great and professional staff
I would review this hotel from three aspects: safety and control, pros and cons. Overall, the hotel has polite staff but suffers from poor management.
In summary, it is a hotel to avoid!
**SAFETY & CONTROL**
- There is no control of entry to the gym; I saw an eight-year-old child alone playing with equipment, which is a high risk for injury!
- The square glass table in the room has a loose glass surface that can slide off and injure someone.
- At breakfast, there was no one monitoring entry or seating. I walked in, had my breakfast, and left without being checked!
- A local person was wandering around the small gym in traditional attire, socializing and making small talk.
I wonder if anyone is responsible for the security and safety of guests in the hotel!
**PROS:**
- Good location next to the mall with easy accessibility.
- A large, spacious reception area.
- Spacious rooms with ample space.
- Decent cleaning services, and they offer free water and coffee.
**CONS:**
1. **THE GYM & POOL**
- The gym, located in the basement, is rundown, with old and broken equipment and damaged walls.
- It is next to the heated indoor swimming pool, which lacks proper insulation, making it hot and humid.
- There seems to be a swimming class for young children in the small pool, turning the area into a chaotic mess!
2. **THE ROOM**
- The room had water leaking from the ceiling, the air conditioning was noisy, and one of the two phones was not working.
- The bed has a very thick mattress that feels unstable; it vibrates to the sides when one moves or turns in the bed!
- The window in the room overlooks an internal space and is too small, resulting in very little natural light, which is quite depressing.
3. **THE CORRIDORS**
- The hotel corridors leading to the rooms from the elevators have either very high humidity with a musty smell or a strong food odor indicating a problem with the air-conditioning system in the hotel.
The professional reaction is great, the response to solve clients issues was commendable. The manager Mr. Asir, understood the issue and solved it. Thank you to double tree by Hilton Dhahran. Now the stay is comfortable, and the room is clean will all needed facilities. Recommended for future business trips.
The hotel staff is very professional and accommodating and i will return due to the staff and the breakfast is amazing i will stay and again and recommend to stay and in an area that has access to malls shops and family activities for the children. Great place 🏡🏡🙏🏾🙏🏾
excellent choice,
The breakfast selection was limited and didn’t seem fresh. Many items tasted bland, and a few were not up to the standard I expected from a hotel of this caliber. I also tried dinner at the restaurant, but the dishes were underwhelming and lacked creativity.
While the staff were friendly and attentive, the food quality really detracted from my overall experience. I hope the management can take this feedback into account and improve the culinary offerings, as it would greatly enhance the stay for future guests
I stayed at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Alkhobar for six days and was disappointed with several aspects of my stay. While the lobby and reception area were marvelous, and the food was excellent, the condition of my room left much to be desired. The carpet in my room was dirty, and it was clear it hadn’t been shampooed. Additionally, the room had a strong smoke odor, which I suspect was due to being placed on a smoking floor.
The wash basin in the bathroom had a blockage and didn’t drain properly, and the toilet flush wasn’t efficient enough. The soap tray was also problematic, as the soap kept slipping off. I found these issues annoying and expected better maintenance.
Although the reception and front desk staff were excellent, my experience with room service was lacking. I requested extra towels, but they were never provided.
In summary, while the hotel shines in terms of food and the lobby, the room quality and service need significant improvement.
This should help you convey your experience clearly and effectively.
The room was not clean, wash room was pathetic with poor flush switch for toilet and dirty toilet
Quite old and water temperature changing during shower!
Our experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Dhahran was mixed, primarily due to the hotel showing signs of aging. The staff were amiable and welcoming, which was a positive aspect. However, it’s clear that the facility needs significant updates. In the gym, only one out of four treadmills was operational. The rooms appeared old and worn, detracting from the comfort and aesthetic appeal we expected. Staying on the second floor, we were disturbed by loud ventilation noises until midnight, which impacted our rest. It’s evident that renovations are urgently needed to bring this hotel back to its former glory.
unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.
First and foremost, one of the most noticeable problems was the condition of the rooms. They were noticeably old and in desperate need of renovation. The outdated decor, worn-out furniture, and general lack of attention to detail made the rooms feel tired and uninviting.
there were no towels in the toilets. Having to wait for two hours just to receive a towel is simply unacceptable. It was an inconvenience that could have easily been avoided with proper planning and attention to guest needs. This lack of preparedness reflects poorly on the hotel's customer service and attention to detail.
Very disappointing stay, arrived after check in time to be told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait. No welcome from the staff they seemed more interested in talking to each other, didn't mention anything about the hotel or facilities. When I checked back after 15 minutes was told room wasn't ready and at this point I highlighted again that I needed to check in to go to a meeting and that it was passed the official check in time. Finally hotel manager was called and got things moving, just don't understand why people just can't get the basics right. Got back late from meeting and was just snoozing when there were loud guests which woke me up, walls seemed like paper thin and the echo from the atrium just make it worse. Finally got to sleep and then took a good 5-10 minutes before I managed to get hot water for a shower in the morning. Having stayed at the Intercontinental in Dammam I'd give this a miss, staff need to be trained on customer service and place was just disappointing. Certainly didn't make me feel that being a diamond member was going to get you any better service.
The stay was amazing, quiet, and super comfy.
The only thing bothering me was the "too many lights switches". To be in total darkness you have to turn off a lot of switches, as there was no "master switch".
1. Extremely small bathroom.
2. Very poor-quality taps and plumbing.
3. Bath water comes out.
Booked for two nights but cancelled the 2nd night.
Briefed my experience with reception desk. He said, the hotel is going be modified, not sure.
