Pros:

Very centrally located, close to the train station but also the historical center. The room was small but that was expected and it was comfortable and fine for a night before Bernina. I asked for an extra bed cover as it was still cold at night, and the staff was very accomodating. Breakfast was mostly sweet, but they prepared eggs as requested and had small pre-packed plates with cheese, ham or salmon too. Altogether would recommend!

Cons:

Would be great to have some heating at night, May is still cold.

Great Location and a Lovely Hotel
Pros:

This lovely hotel is a short walk from the train station into the historic area of Chur. I only stayed over night, but I was very happy with the location. The checkin was easy and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. I dined in the historic restaurant and it was just fabulous. The food was amazing and the local wine was delightful. The hotel is cosy. The rooms are very small, and mine had a single bed only but it was very comfortable. The bathroom was well fitted out, and they thought of everything you might need in amenities in the room. The buffet breakfast was fabulous and they will even cook omelettes to order and give you a coffee to go if you need it. I really enjoyed my stay.

Für 5 Nächte war es ganz gut

Ein besonderes Danke an das Reinigungspersonal, das Zimmer war sehr sauber.
Die Lage des Hotels, sowie die reichliche Auswahl des Frühstücks.

Cons:

Die Bedienungen beim Abendessen und Frühstück
Die Parkplatzsituation.
Leider zu wenig Touristeninformationen,sowie Flyer über die Umgebung und Ausflugsziele, vom Empfangspersonal

Great location, excellent staff
Pros:

The location of this hotel is great (a short walk from the station) and near to an excellent Coop supermarket. The room I stayed in was in the annex next to the hotel. It's a bit of an odd setup and should probably be explained more clearly on the booking.com website. I had a single room so as expected it was in the ceiling cavity with just a small window so no view as such. It was a good sized room though and had both a nespresso machine and a kettle which is a bonus. All of the staff I encountered at the hotel were very warm and welcoming. Great omelettes at the egg station at breakfast, shout out to Lavinia on reception and to the bar attendant who made an excellent campari spritz!

Cons:

Rather than a regular buffet at breakfast, everything is portion plated (which I suspect is in response to the tour groups who stay there and are making packed lunches each day). The part that is a bit of a turn off (apart from the tour group participants themselves) is that all of those individual portions are wrapped in "environmentally friendly" clingfilm......
The rolls were a little stale, the bread was great though but the pastries would quickly all be gone due to the tour group 'snafflers'. A solution might be (and I've seen this in other hotels) to provide a set menu (savoury or sweet) and then the food quantity is known, the guests can take it away if they don't eat it at breakfast because they've paid for it and there is minimal wastage. The egg station would remain optional. Just an idea!
The bar was closed one evening due to a 'private function, with no alternate offered to guests. I wasn't aware until I re-read the description that there was a roof top terrace, but maybe it's not open for the summer season yet?

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig am Rand der Altstadt. Unser Zimmer im Budget-Teil des Hotels war klein, aber sehr zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Beim Frühstück konnte man sich Eier frisch zubereiten lassen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer war das kleinste, das uns je untergekommen ist, wirklich winzig. Beim Frühstück waren Wurst, Käse und Lachs portionsweise abgepackt. Brot und Brötchen waren nicht knusprig. Die Käse Auswahl war nicht groß – in der Regel nur ein oder zwei Sorten.
