Askin Hotel

Spent 3 weeks here and really enjoyed it ! It's located right in the middle of Sultanahmet (the "Old City") between the Blue Mosque and AyaSophia.......great area to walk and explore. Also, the Metro stop is a one minute walk from the hotel ! A big plus is the rooftop terrace.......you can enjoy breakfast, a drink, etc. on the rooftop with a 360 degreee view of Istanbul ! The view really is incredible, especially at night. The staff was great; Dilrabol, who manages the hotel was GREAT ! She spoken several languages so communication is not a problem......she helped with any questions I had. I will definitely stay at Askin Hotel on my next trip to Istanbul. Johnny

The hotel is in the best area just behind the Blue Mosque, we booked 2 rooms as a family, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely receptionist Dilruba who did her best to make us feel confortable. Naar, the lady who cleans was also very nice and very helping. The rooftop terrace has amazing view but they dont serve breakfast, but they allowed us to bring our breakfast and make our coffee and tea. Kettle was also available in the rooms. One room had fridge, the other room did not have. The bad thing is that the second day, the elevator stopped working and we had to climb 3 stories but they helped with luggage. In brief, a nice small clean basic hotel, in an excellent area, and very good price, and welcoming staff.

Excellent location...Amazing terrace view with breakfast and afyernoon tea facility...At The centre of old city...Good bargain hotel...Hotel is an old building...But the Management and staff attitude was excellent...Breakfast was nice...We Will go back again soon...

very Close to city centre.hotel is not in great condition but the terrace with excellent sea view and friendly staff covers that...Wè Will come back again

Es wird jedesmal eine Etage komplett saniert .

- das Fenster war kaputt es ist kalter Wind. Reingekommen.
- Schimmel an Wänden
- Zimmer stinkt Nach starken Verdünnungsmittel
- Möbel sehr alt
- Flecken im Klo
- einzig gutes, die Lage des Hotels.

Very nice small hotel. The location is the best - only 2 min to the Blue Mosque by feet! Price-quality - 100%. Also the boss is always friendly, helpful and understanding. He is trying to do his best for the guests. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for the best location and friendly atmosphere!

Great location, good size clean rooms staff are friendly although not all that proffesional wifi can be a bit hit or miss, it has a roof terrace with an amazing view but there is no coffee shop, bar or wifi there, they could do a lot more with the hotel but over all I enjoyed my stay

Bize verilen saatte otele giriş yaptık bize sulunulan oda dışında küçük bir odaya yerleştirildik otelde tadilat vardı ilgi Hizmet sıfırdı havlumuzu bile kendimiz istedik oda çok soğuktu klima ve televizyon vardı ama kumanda yoktu
Kahvaltı hakkımızı vermediler bununla ilgli çok sorun çıkardık ödeneğimizi söyleyip hazırlamalarını rica ettiğimizde ise personel yok deyip istediğimizi gerçekleştirmediler
Pazar sabahı saat 6 sıralarında ses dolasıyla uykumuzdan uyandırıldık tam bir kaostu

Le personnel turque ne parle pas l'anglais, coupure fréquente d'électricité, mauvaise odeur dans les chambres qui sont sales, non confortable et ne correspondent pas à la description du site, odeur de la salle de bain insupportable, pendant mon séjour de 4 jours la femme de ménage n'a jamais passé

Tellement d’inconvénient que je sais pas d’où commencer

Location make up for everything it’s just few steps away from tram way and blue mosque they have a lift which is great lovely view from terrace, owner was good to me helped with the luggage only WiFi won’t reach my room generally you get wht you paid for.

The staff really are 10/10 could not be more helpful. Fast Food and room service was very fast. Made to feel very welcome. Clean bedding clean room heat and a/c. From nottingham

The location of the hotel is great and the staff were very friendly. They did not have a room prepared for me so they offered me a choice of three. The one I chose wasn´t ready so they asked me to sleep in one of the others the first night. They didn´t get round to moving me...
In eight days they did not change sheets or towels.
However the staff were really nice and helped with taxis and advice.
