Very clean, comfortable, family-friendly
Pros:

Happy with our stay at Coolum Beach Getaway Resort. It is a nice quiet street tucked behind the busy main road. There is street parking and a few visitor parks if you have multiple cars or a bigger car that won’t fit in the garage - so great to have a garage! The apartment was very clean and the bed was really comfortable (pillows a bit high for my liking, so BYO if you have a preference). It is an older place but that’s to be expected for 3-star accomodation. Reasonable value for money as other nearby apartments were similarly priced. Not too far of a walk to the main shopping strip with plenty of cafes, and Coles, Dan Murphys, Chemist and Coolum Hotel just around the corner. We didn’t use the facilities but they are very adequate for a small family resort, and handy for families with older children as all apartments face the centre with the pool and tennis court.

Cons:

Beware, do NOT use the iron. It will ruin your clothes and stain them brown. Unfortunately had to go to a wedding with a burnt patch on my dress. The iron and ironing board need to be disposed of and replaced.

Great spot for family getaway
Pros:

Court and half basketball court were a delightful surprise. Balls, racquets and paddles all generously supplied.
Loved having our own lock up garage to safely lock away golf clubs and surfboards.
Only a block away from Coles and Dan Murphy’s and short walk to beach and cafes.

Cons:

Luckily it wasn’t overly hot during our stay, but the bedrooms are not air conditioned. If it was hotter and needed more than a ceiling fan to cool off the bedrooms for sleeping, it would have been very uncomfortable.

lovely week spent at the beach
Pros:

GREAT LOCATION, Friendly staff, plenty of equipment to use including bikes and boogie boards.

Cons:

Pool was very cool and smaller than expected. Old curtains with holes in them and mould on the fake flowers, entry lights to the unit not working took away from the positive experience of staying here.

Super location and great staff!
Pros:

Great location.
Geoff was so helpful in getting us checked in during a massive storm. We had no power in the whole resort and had to relocate from Bribie.
He went out of his way to help get us in.
The accommodation had everything we needed and facilities were great.
Geoff gave us helpful information on our next stopover. Thank you!
