Not having a kettle or drink making facilities in the room
No advance notice of £200 deposit, then demanded at 10pm at night when we were shattered and not connected to WiFi. An unexpected expense . Also city tax appeared on booking.com invoice but guests were charged €3.50/person/night when they stayed there?
The staff was incredibly kind and went out of their way to answer all our questions about hikes, bus routes, etc. We planned our trip around day hikes, and the hotel is a short walk from where the Cortina Express stops and a reasonable walk from the bus station where the local lines stop.
There was construction outside our main balcony, but it didn't impact our stay in the slightest. The room was bigger than anticipated, and the balconies were the perfect place to sit and take in the views. We were lucky enough to be there on August 14th (Ferragosto) and watched the bonfires from our balcony.
Honestly, it was a perfect stay, and the staff were so gracious with our questions. I would recommend Hotel Natale to anyone going to Cortina.

A small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, a lovely breakfast, and the most amazing views from the balcony. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind.
The room was a little small for a family of three, and it’s worth noting that there are no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room, although I’m realising this seems to be quite common in Italy.
We also used the hotel spa, which costs €24 per person for 80 minutes. It’s really lovely and definitely worth using at least once during your stay. I did feel the hotel was a little overpriced overall, but you are paying for the location.
The hotel is in a great position, with a very easy walk into the town centre. Overall, a lovely, peaceful stay with fantastic views and a welcoming atmosphere.
I stayed 3 nights & would love to stay again. The location is great, just up from the main pedestrian street. The premises are immaculate & very clean. The staff are outstanding and the breakfast is great.
Lo staff veramente gentile e disponibile. Ha consigliato escursioni anche in luoghi poco conosciuti ai turisti, veramente soddisfacenti. Camere molto spaziose e impeccabili nella pulizia. La stanza era provvista anche di balconcino. Parcheggio a pagamento ma molto comodo.
Posizione perfetta a 5 minuti dal centro pedonale.
Assolutamente consigliato

This hotel advertised sound proof rooms, see the picture. We booked a suite. I did make the mistake of booking through bookings.com and i have paid thr price.
In my original review i mentioned how the afternoon shift mamager totally disregarded my complaints about the noise she was making when talking to clients on the from desk. We booked here as the rooms claimed to be soundproof. To say she was rude is an understatement, we'd flown 24 hrs from Australia, driven 5 hours and just wanted an hour or two to refresh. I complained twice and she said she is talking at a normal level.
I asked if we could change rooms they told me its full. The car park was virtually empty. Breakfast was empty. We saw or heard very few people. But we always heard her.
We can hear every noise outside the walls, whether it be road, corridor or staff. The fact they advertise sound proof and it's anything far from it. And she was exceptionally rude.
Regardless of what they say. Its not the truth.
DON'T STAY HERE.
Beautiful hotel. Large room. Accommodating staff. We were able to drop our bags and go hike prior to our room being ready. As far as value, the room ended up being cheaper here and much nicer than the other hotel we stayed at in cortina. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
