NOI Casa Atacama

We enjoyed spending four nights at this hotel. It is an odd place in a way with low and somewhat worn buildings but it is in character with the town. The room (standard room 31) was also a bit rustic and worn but it had character too, was comfortable, and we liked it. The small outdoor courtyard is with high walls and completely without a view – it's an odd way of designing a courtyard – but at least we did have a small private outdoor space. The shower is very big and really nice. We enjoyed the restaurant for dinner a couple of times – cosy and nice food.

We felt very comfortable here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

NOI Casa offers a great oasis in the SPDA. The service is excepcional. The rooms offers modern amenities and the restuturant has a wide selection of meals and artisinal drinks from the region. We enjoyed our stay as a family off our with young kids 2 and 9 years old. Would recommend the hotel to anyone especially with a young family. Happy visitors from Trinidad and Tobago.

Comfortable room and friendly staff. Booked a suite room and very roomy. Food from the restaurant are tasty and price is fair compared with the restaurant on the street.

Pleasant and comfortable hotel. Front desk and restaurant staff (particularly Rosa & Magaly) are super friendly and always helpful. Architecture blends in nicely, rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean though not air conditioning in rooms. Kitchen not very good.

Great location for town just a 5 min walk. Spacious comfortable bedroom, fan cooled. Very helpful staff with a special mention for Brian who really helped me with an issue.

Very pleasant stay!

NOI Casa Atacama is a comfortable and well-located hotel, within easy walking distance of the heart of San Pedro de Atacama. The rooms were comfortable and clean. While there is no air conditioning, we found the rooms to be comfortable during our stay. One of the rooms was a little warmer, and the staff brought a portable air conditioner for use. The pool was a nice place to relax, especially after long days out on excursions.

The staff truly stood out—friendly, helpful, and always greeting us with a smile. Breakfast buffet was nice, though we didn’t use it most mornings due to very early tour departures. The hotel does offer breakfast boxes to go for early starts, which is a thoughtful option, even though we didn’t take advantage of it. We also appreciated the water bottle refill station, which was very convenient in the desert environment.

Overall, NOI Casa Atacama was a solid choice and a great base for exploring the area, with welcoming staff and thoughtful amenities that made our stay easy and comfortable.

Location, breakfast

Layout it’s fantastic and the rooms are lovely and spacious. My room had an outdoor terrace and face the pool. The restaurant was great and they really tried to do a good job. The menu has a lot of options in variety. The staff were very nice and accommodating. It is a lovely place and I would recommend it to other folks to stay here. I could just use a couple of touchups to make it amazing.

The hotel is nice and has a relaxed atmosphere. Our room was pretty good with decent amenities. We booked late so we didn’t get a suite (we had two deluxe rooms). Our outdoor area was a very small high-walled in terrace which was too hot to use. And if we did want to use it there was only one chair. There’s no air conditioning just a noisy fan. The standard of the food was mixed. We had some excellent dishes and some that were poor. The drinks selection is limited. Almost all of the staff were incredibly friendly but few of them had English and so we found it difficult to communicate as we have no Spanish. We had one strange experience. We paid for B&B for 2 rooms for 4 nights. Some excursions leave before the breakfast buffet opens. So you can choose a breakfast box to go. It contains a very limited selection of food from the breakfast buffet: bap with a slice of ham and a slice of cheese; yogurt; piece of fruit; some nuts; and a bottle of still water - it was not good. One morning we returned from our early excursion earlier than scheduled and the breakfast buffet was still open. We went to have breakfast but were told we couldn’t because we had had the breakfast in a box. We were really surprised. I went to reception to speak about it but was told quite firmly that if we wanted breakfast from the buffet then we would have to pay for it. I said I was not happy about that and the receptionist replied “ok” and went back to her looking at her computer. It’s a small thing possibly but we felt it said a lot about the hotel’s attitude towards its guests. Because of this we didn’t eat or drink in the hotel again even though we had planned to have two more lunches and one dinner there. We checked out with same receptionist who I suppose understandably did not ask us how our stay was. If we were ever to return to San Pedro de Atacama we would stay somewhere else.
