Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices and cooked to order.
Disabled so could not get over lip to shower, however bedroom very good to move wheel chair around.
The staff were amazing polite friendly and very helpful
The outdoor facilities were good had a lovely breakfast .
Shady parking most of the time.
The staff looked after my refrigerated bone medication and cool packs.
The double classics £140 a night at weekend were way too small and our room on second floor was a sauna through the day . The desk top fan did very little.
It was a very hot weekend but as we booked 3 nights months agony for our daughter’s wedding, a room on the lower level might have been a more thoughtful application of room . We couldn’t change room till Sunday by which time we packed up and went home due to lack of sleep it was simply too hot at night in a tiny room and skin issues. It was hard trying to fit in our belongings into storage. We simply booked the wrong room for a 3 night stay but be prepared the cost at weekend is expensive peak rate.
If you want a cooler room book a deluxe on ground floor way in advance
as long as you don’t mind the bin storage area being close by . You will get shade from trees in room 24 which I am pleased to say our USA visitors were in.
In cooler weather this hotel would have been so much better it’s not the hotels fault we have such hot weather.
We should have asked to change room but had to get to venue to set up and there was another wedding party staying. I was sad to leave our USA friends a day early .
In all fairness The hotel did offer us a different room but we declined due to being packed up to go home.
Check the room size before you book this pretty hotel in a quiet location with lovely staff. I ve tried to be fair reviewing this hotel the weather isn’t their fault.
The staff were excellent without exception. They worked hard and and answered all our queries with politeness and efficiency.
The whole place is a bit tired. It needs renovating. Whilst the staff were excellent, the hotel needs sprucing up.
The staff were incredibly helpful and super friendly. Maria in the restaurant was fantastic and very accommodating when 15 of us appeared unannounced for breakfast. She had us all seated and sorted in no time! Thank you so much!
Bed is very nice, had a good sleep and parking is easy
No still water in room just sparkling and shower head, only half the water comes out, alot of the holes were blocked as didnt work
Wie kann dieses Hotel solch eine Bewertung haben Einfach furchtbar
Room upgrade was much appreciated after long day at business events. Staff very polite, professional and accommodating.
N/A
The location.
The room was poorly equipped for the price. There was no air conditioning, fan or fridge, making it very uncomfortable in the warm weather. The two small bottles of water in the room were chargeable at £25, which felt excessive. I was also charged £50 for a Z-bed that was never provided. Although I was promised a refund, I was still waiting for it five days later. In addition, there were spiders and insects in the room due to the lack of insect screens. Overall, I felt the hotel offered poor value for money.
Venue is beautiful, room facilities very good, wedding lovely
We weren't informed there would be a football screening on the lawn directly outside our room. There were hundreds of people gathered there, and the noise continued into the early hours, which had a significant impact on our stay. Had we known in advance, we would have requested a different room.
On checkout I gave feedback to staff and was promised contact from management but haven't received this despite chasing.
It was a huge oversight not to inform paying guests they would be kept up past 0100, but I suppose they made enough money from the event not to bother.
Breakfast was lovely.
We paid a large amount of money for 4 nights in a junior suite for a bit of comfort and relaxation but the first room they put us in before moving us to a better room was disgusting. It was shabby, smelly needed refurbishing and definitely not worth the money. The bathroom was awful and the shower unit was rusty and had mould on the walls. The sofa was stained all over and the carpet was sticky.
My room was excellent ! Really spacious !
The location was amazing. Rooms were a little tired but reasonably sized, bed comfortable. Staff were very welcoming.
Exceptionally tall mirror in the bathroom.
Room didn’t meet expectations
A good clean
