I have already recommended this place to many friends and family - we loved everything about it!
Pros:

Our stay at Quinta Do Furao was magical. We were obsessed with our balcony's view (we stayed in a Junior Suite room on the top floor). The breakfast was fabulous and had great menu options to complement what they had out for buffet. The coffee was fantastic. We did meals at both restaurants and loved them. I loved the location in Santana, and felt like it was a great place to explore the north side of the island from. Our room was spacious. They even had a place for us to plug in our hybrid rental car!

Cons:

I can't think of anything. I want to go back!

Wunderbares Hotel im Norden der Insel
Pros:

Wir können das Hotel nur empfehlen, und kommen bestimmt wieder! Unser Zimmer hatte einen atemberaubenden Ausblick, das Bett was bequem, und es war alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstück, und das Restaurant und die Snackbar im Hotel waren wirklich gut. Ausserdem war das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht.
Die Lage ist perfekt um den Norden zu erkunden.

Wonderful hotel in a superb setting
Pros:

Wonderful views, quiet location, helpful staff, great breakfast, lovely restaurant

Cons:

The lift was a bit old and slow and the bathroom could have done with more hooks for towels etc.
air conditioning is being fitted apparently but our room didn’t have it yet.

Mooi klassiek hotel op schitterende locatie.
Pros:

Heel mooi gelegen aan een miradouro. Lekker restaurant met vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Er was geen airco op de kamer (maar dat zou binnenkort in orde moeten komen). Eerder klein zwembad voor de grootte van het hotel. Verder alles naar wens.

Sehr angenehmes Ferienresort in Santana
Pros:

Sehr schönes Ressort mit traumhaftem Blick aufs Meer. Sehr grosszügige Anlage mitten Reben, sehr ansprechend angelegt und gepflegt. Auch der Pool direkt in den Reben, dabei viele Liegen und Sonnenschirme.
Umfassendes und feines Frühstücksbuffet.
Das Personal jederzeit sehr freundlich, motiviert und hilfsbereit.
Guter Standort für Ausflüge und Wanderungen in die unterschiedlichen Richtungen, viele Ziele in kurzer Distanz zu erreichen.
Der Meeresblick von Zimmer - absolut phantastisch. Ebenso das Restaurant, ein wahrhaft traumhafter Ausblick.
