Very restful stay at the Pallazino Grassi. A property that earns its stars for sure.
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing. Thoroughly loved the eggs Benedict. The rooms, the staff, the location, all the restaurant recommendations made by the concierge were 10/10.

It was the perfect base to explore Venice for a first time visit.

Cons:

My room category had no water view. But that’s a choiice. And being inside the room you don’t notice you’re missing anything. The design and comfort make up.

Notre séjour au Palazzina Grassi a été bien plus qu’un simple séjour dans un hôtel de luxe à Venise : ce fut une expérience absolument inoubliable.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été impressionnés par la beauté du lieu. La décoration est d’un raffinement exceptionnel, le mobilier est somptueux, les chambres sont élégantes, spacieuses et d’un confort remarquable. Chaque détail est pensé avec goût et contribue à créer une atmosphère unique, intime et luxueuse.

Mais ce qui distingue véritablement le Palazzina Grassi, c’est la qualité humaine de son équipe. Le personnel est d’une gentillesse, d’une élégance et d’un professionnalisme absolument remarquables. Chaque membre du personnel a contribué à rendre notre séjour unique avec une attention sincère et un service irréprochable.

La surprise la plus incroyable restera notre surclassement dans une magnifique suite avec une vue imprenable sur le Grand Canal. Se réveiller face à ce panorama iconique de Venise est un privilège indescriptible. Voir l’émotion dans les yeux de ma femme restera gravé dans ma mémoire. Vous avez transformé un rêve en réalité.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est également parfait pour découvrir Venise à pied tout en profitant d’un véritable havre de paix lorsque l’on rentre le soir.

Man sollte sich besser ein anderes Hotel aussuchen für günstigeren Preis

Das einzige, was uns gefallen hat, war die Lage

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem angeblichen Fünf-Sterne-Hotel in Venice war leider eine große Enttäuschung. Das komplett weiße Doppelzimmer wirkte durch die zahlreichen mannshohen Spiegel eher erdrückend als stilvoll. Hinter einem Vorhang befand sich zudem ein schrillgelbes Baukastensystem, das überhaupt nicht zur übrigen Einrichtung passte. Auch das Badezimmer war zwar groß, aber mit seinem ungewöhnlichen Wasserhahn und dem sehr eigenwilligen Waschbecken eher unpraktisch als luxuriös.

Besonders enttäuschend war, dass weder Seife noch hochwertige Duschartikel vorhanden waren – für ein Haus mit diesem Anspruch absolut unverständlich. Dazu kam, dass das Zimmer unangenehm kalt war und sich die Klimaanlage beziehungsweise Heizung nicht vernünftig regulieren ließ.

Das Frühstück war leider ebenfalls weit entfernt von dem, was man in dieser Preisklasse erwartet: abgepackte Butter, Marmelade in kleinen Portionsgläsern, aufgebackenes Brot und sehr überschaubare Auswahl. Der zum Ei bestellte Schinken war zudem komplett verbrannt. Insgesamt hatte das Ganze eher den Eindruck eines einfachen Drei-Sterne-Hotels zu Preisen eines Luxus-Hotels.

Für uns definitiv kein Hotel, das wir noch einmal besuchen würden – und auch keine Empfehlung für Reisende, die in Venice Wert auf Komfort, Qualität und echten Fünf-Sterne-Service legen.
