The food was good and fresh, the staff was friendly and helpful. Good location even though it's by a busy road and you can hear cars racing at night but it wasn't so bad.
Certain things were a bit outdated and can be improved. Room service delays attending to requests
Celebrated two big birthdays in Capetown at the Regency. Breakfast and breakfast staff are so lovely - thank you, Elfrieda, Justin, Zinzinisi, Akhoni and Isabel! Sasha was always around checking to ensure everything ran smoothly. Bellhops and general hotel staff also very friendly.
Location is great and view of the table mountain was fabulous.
Rooms and infrastructure need updates. Lounge was tiny and difficult to navigate. Pool was freezing cold - should not be hard to get it heated in the winter. Reception staff ranged from excellent to unhelpful. I am an Explorist and can see room for improvement here. We will be back and hope for the best for the hotel.

A very enjoyable stay, well kept, beautiful aesthetics. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. A special mention to Alex (the front desk staff, i think) as she ensured that everything went smoothly and that I was as comfortable as possible.
Will definitely return!

Lovely clean accommodations with outstanding breakfast buffet
We stayed in Hyatt Regency Cape Town. The atmosphere was friendly, but only a little helpful. The rooms were great with a very scenic view. It was almost value for money because they had great facilities. But where it wasn't value for money was that we paid for 2+1 in one room, but everything was only for 2 people and when we called multiple times for them we still didn't get them. The rooms were clean. And there was no disturbance with a peaceful atmosphere. The housekeeping service was terrible because we didn't get what we asked for when we called multiple times. Amenities were great and in tip-top condition. They also charged us for parking for only 3 nights, which was not mentioned, and it was also a lot.

Great location, in the heart of the city. Walking distance from pretty much everything. Great stuff and a very good breakfast, other than the coffee machine
Unfortunately, we had switched smell consistently in one of the two rooms that we booked. The room was changed on the last night, but it was a bit too late for us.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Hyatt Regency Cape Town for the wonderful hospitality. We especially appreciate Rushen for the warm welcome, Ferrial for the lovely breakfast welcome, and Shelton for serving us the delicious cookies and tea from Dos Tea Café. We also loved the special Kadak tea and fresh juices. ❤️
Everything was amazing, from the warm service to the delicious food, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable! 🌸
