Very underwhelmed by my stay
Pros:

Espresso Martini at the BAr was nice

Cons:

We were extremely disappointed with our recent stay.

There was a huge amount of noise coming from the street at 02:30am, including a marching band playing directly outside the hotel. We were absolutely shocked that the windows are not double-glazed to mitigate this level of disturbance. What was even more concerning was that reception appeared unaware of the incident when we raised it the following morning at checkout. I find it hard to believe we were the only guests affected at that hour.

The television quality was very poor snowy picture, limited channel selection, and no streaming services available on what is marketed as a smart TV. This was unexpected for a hotel of this standard.

We also ordered room service breakfast, which arrived cold and dry, suggesting it had been standing for some time before being delivered to our room.

On departure, we were surprised to be charged for parking. This was not clearly communicated and felt unreasonable given the level of the establishment.

The bar mini-fridge in the room was completely empty, which again felt inconsistent with a supposed five-star experience.

There was no turndown service during our stay.

Additionally, we were charged for a cappuccino upon checkout, despite breakfast being included in our booking.

Overall, the experience fell well below expectations. My wife works in the film industry as a Producer and has frequently heard feedback from clients who are hesitant to stay at this hotel unfortunately, we now better understand why.

I would 100% recommend staying here. Great value for money, the staff made me feel at home, rooms are very clean, spacio
Pros:

Extremely friendly staff, very central, comfortable bed and pillows, very clean room.

Cons:

It was a little noisy and smell came out of the shower and toilet.

Coming back to Cape Town next year and I won't even look at other hotels.
Pros:

The breakfast buffet was excellent as was all the service. The rooms were HUGE and very comfortable.
