I was delivering training so we were using the conference facilities
Mark way amazing. Very friendly and helping us with everything from AV to food.
Lunch food was super and a welcoming environment
Everyone at the hotel was so welcoming and helpful. I arrived at around 8.30am and the colleagues on reception went out of their way to help me check in early (I was in my room by 8.45am) which was hugely appreciated.
The room was immaculate and very comfortable.
The buffet breakfast was delicious with such a huge range of foods to choose from. I also ate at the Cape Malay buffet one evening and ordered room service another evening - all of the food was incredible.
The hotel is in a great location with lots of cafes/restaurants nearby and just a short Uber ride away from places like Lion’s Head, Table Mountain, Camps Bay etc.
I would highly recommend staying here - I felt so welcomed and looked after during my stay.

I recently hosted an event at the Hyatt Regency, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had.
From the start, everything was well organised and surprisingly affordable for the level of quality you get. The food was really good, and all my guests were happy, which already made a big difference. But what truly stood out for me was the service — it was next level.
A special thank you to Sasha, Britney, Gallo, Hanno, Sherabeen, and Lukas. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were always available, extremely helpful, and just so professional throughout the entire process. They really made me feel like royalty!
I would definitely recommend the Hyatt Regency to anyone looking to host an event, you’ll be in very good hands.
We have stayed here multiple times. One of the best value Hyatt hotels (especially when using points). Great staff, restaurant onsite is great, location is good to get around.

Breakfast has less variety from before
Óptima localização. Bom pequeno almoço. Restaurante muito agradável e gostei muito da comida da esplanada da piscina. Quartos muito confortáveis. Bom serviço de portaria em termos de excursões.
Falta de limpeza. Tive de solicitar 3 vezes para colocarem na casa de banho tapetes no chão. As casas de banho, principalmente a zona do chuveiro, não demonstrava uma limpeza cuidada. Só havia uma toalha para as mais que era um lençol de banho. As chaves do quarto tiveram de ser trocadas várias vezes. Falta de limpeza. As mesas na varanda estavam sempre com muito pó e por limpar. O serviço não era condizente com um hotel de 5 estrelas. Em suma, fiquei desiludida com o hotel.
