Front desk staff was really sweet. A/C was good and bed was comfy.
Some towels were stained. Bath towels were a little small. Not a fan of the keychain- very big (and not sure how they handle if more than 1 person?). There were flies in the bathroom bc the window had been left open but I was able to get rid of them. Bathroom sink wasn't draining properly.
Location
Overpriced
Tired , needs a refresh
Aircon don’t work
Staff really friendly. Great location. Breakfast very good and big portions. Very comfortable bed.

Great location less than a minutes walk to the promenade. Close to Hop-on-Off bus stops and a pleasant and safe walk 45 minute to the V&A Waterfront. This is a lovely boutique hotel staffed by really friendly and engaging people. Rooms are generously sized with quality fittings, bed linen and towels. Bed was super comfy. The food was exceptional. Generous portions and very reasonably priced. The chef(s) definitely know their way around a kitchen! This was the first stop on our Garden Route tour and it set the benchmark for all the other hotels we were visiting. We’re three stops in so far and Hotel on the Promenade hasn’t been beaten.

Comfortable room. Fabulous food and really friendly helpful staff. Easy location to get Ubers to the main attractions of Cape Town. Lovely walk along the Promenade to the V and A Waterfront area.
Supermarket and restaurants close by but we were very happy to eat in most evenings as the food was so good and very reasonably priced.
Not the properties fault but quite a few homeless people in Sea Point, not that we felt threatened at all.
Food was GREAT Staff was Fantastic
Die sehr gute Lage, dass es nicht so groß ist und das ausgezeichnete Frühstück
Alles gut!
Very modern property, comfortable room with electric blinds, nespresso machine, etc. Cafe and bar on site and helpful staff. Well located for central Caoe Town. Street parking available.
Despite the name it’s not actually on the promenade but one street back!
Bien situé au calme. Propre et bon petit déjeuner

Trivelig personale og hyggelig restaurant. Maten var helt ok. Kort vei ned til strandpromenaden
Great location, rooms are quite cosy but very well designed with everything a traveller needs including a vanity pack which most hotels including 5star don’t provide. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of health options.
Staff, location and price
Staff are great , food is very good and rooms very comfortable. Location great easy access to V& A waterfront.
Nothing , but suppose down to supply and demand the price over the last couple of years has increased a lot . Whatever we will carry on using this as our Cape Town stay .
Excellent continental breakfast. Nice big room and en-suite.
Only 1 tv channel.
Stayed for just a night in early January. The rooms were very comfy and the food was amazing - especially the steak - but what we loved the most was the interaction between the owners, staff, and regulars. I have never seen such a lovely and happy little ecosystem of people.
The owner's young son would come back to the hotel after a walk on the Promenade and run behind the bar to give the waiter a hug. The regulars (who referred to themselves as such) were very welcoming and more than happy to talk about the history of the place and tell stories of all that they'd seen, and when the son would leave the property, a member of staff would run outside to make sure he was ok and bring him back safe and sound.
It was a very healthy and happy atmosphere that you don't see enough of these days. Felt like being in a home vs a hotel. I have recommended it to a few people based on this rare experience and they all can't wait to see it for themselves.
