We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and what truly stood out to us was the exceptional service. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always willing to help us and our family whenever we needed anything.
Because we were preparing for our return journey, we had ordered quite a lot of packages to the hotel. The staff were always kind and helpful, and they even brought all of our packages directly to our room without ever showing any frustration or bad mood. Their attitude and willingness to help were truly impressive. The hotel staff are absolutely **first-class**, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values excellent service and genuine hospitality.
The location was also fantastic and very convenient for exploring Hanoi.
The only small inconvenience is that cars cannot stop directly in front of the hotel and have to stop about one street away. This means that you may have to carry your luggage for 2–3 minutes to reach the hotel, which can be a little inconvenient if you are travelling with a lot of luggage. However, even this was handled exceptionally well by the staff. The reception team was so friendly that they actually came to meet us in the nearby street and helped carry our luggage all the way to the hotel. That really shows how committed they are to taking care of their guests.
The rooms were all very nice and comfortable. One small area that could perhaps be improved is the drainage system in some of the bathrooms. In certain rooms, there was a slight unpleasant smell coming from the drains. It was not overpowering or unbearable, but replacing or improving the drainage pipes could make the experience even better.
Overall, we were extremely happy with our stay. If we return to Hanoi, we will 100% book the Splendid Hotel again.The outstanding service, incredibly helpful staff, great location, and welcoming atmosphere made our stay truly enjoyable.

Tom, Bryan and Angela are friendly and helpful. They help me arrange tours all around Vietnam with reasonable price. Room is comfortable, and breakfast is 10/10.
Perfect location, clean and comfortable
When we checked in we were met by a manager who asked to see details of any activities we had booked and asked us if we would cancel them and swap to their own similar trips - for example we had planned a boat trip to Phi Phi islands and he tried to convince us to book theirs instead. They were essentially the same trips with no price difference, and I didn't really appreciate being aggressively upsold something literally within minutes of arriving. At the end of our stay we were asked to fill in a review on paper - three members of staff were watching the whole time so I felt very pressured into leaving positive reviews. I don't know if they were trying to intimidate us because we were young or female or if this is just something they think is okay to do.

Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, very nice and helpful staff
The room was very small and practically without the window (the view is towards the backyard with stinking ventilation), and the bathroom was horrible - just shower not separated from the toilet. And there was no pool mentioned at the Website - just massage spa in another building subject to fee. This is definitely not four star hotel.
