Perfect location. Comfy and chill atmosphere. Clean big room. Easy access, classic interior but modern facilities. With breakfast and storage on site. Clean accommodation. Complete kitchen needs.
We booked two rooms for two nights. Other than the room and bathroom being clean - nothing worked! The safe did not work. The coffee machine did not work. We had to keep going down to reception to keep getting something done. Seemed like a show piece of amenities that did NOT work.
Location is superb - walking distance to duomo and many cultural areas . Setting lovely - courtyard, wide stone stairs inside , handy coffee shop in basement. All codes / communication. Worked well. Definitely recommend.
The set-up of the hotel is quite surprising. Non-standard rooms with a personal touch. Also rooms are large enough and equipped with a fridge and a coffee /teamaker. Large desk, nice chair, charming environment. I had trouble with getting to know how the lighting works. There are buttons for one and buttons for all the other ceiling lights.
One is presented earplugs, but I didn't need them. The hotel is in the city centre but the noise outside during the night is limited to a single cleaning vehicle.
Old-fashioned, antique looking bath room. The shower temperature was okay but could have been warmer.
Breakfast is in a separate bar downstairs which is a nice environment, but service is a bit slow. On the other hand, they offer quite a good and safe, self-operating luggage storage where you have a seating area, toilets and coffee. Excellent when you arrive before your room is ready or you need to wait for transport.
Though you get a access code upfront and it looks as if you need to do everything by yourself, the presence during the day of staff helps. It is certainly not an impersonal location.
It is a very nice and convenient place at an excellent location. The way it works is also very efficient and we had a great stay there!
The staff manning the check in desk were very helpful. Room was very clean and modern. Because construction was going on nearby they even left us two bottles of beer in the fridge.
In short: STAY AWAY. Could I give 0 or negative stars I would. Read for details:
I stayed at two Numa locations in Milan (Loreto and Camperio), and the experience was deeply disappointing from start to finish. What began as a routine business trip turned into weeks of frustration, stress, and unfulfilled promises.
At Numa Camperio, we suffered a COMPLETE POWER FAILURE on the first night, leaving my wife, our 7-month-old baby, and me without air conditioning, refrigeration, lighting, or even the ability to boil water. Despite multiple assurances from the staff that we would be relocated, no solution was provided, and we were forced to stay another night under uncomfortable and unsafe conditions.
What made matters worse was the way Numa’s management handled the situation afterward. Although compensation and refunds were agreed to both verbally and in writing with the staff at Camperio, the company repeatedly changed its stance, delayed responses for weeks, and even altered the booking check-out date in their system—reducing the number of nights to be refunded. This was later dismissed as an “error,” but it showed a disturbing lack of transparency and accountability.
I have exchanged nearly 40 emails and spent more than 3 weeks trying to get Numa to simply honor their own commitments. Their customer support team was inconsistent, inefficient, and dismissive, offering apologies instead of solutions. Even after escalating to management, the issue remained unresolved for far too long.
In summary, Numa’s operations and customer support are poorly managed, and they fail to deliver the reliability one expects from a professional hospitality provider. Guests should be aware that in case of any issue—technical, operational, or managerial—you will be left on your own.
I would strongly advise against booking with Numa unless you are prepared to deal with a lack of accountability, slow communication, and promises that may not be kept.
I was traveling solo on business so for the price and location it was worth it. However, if I thought I was going to Milan for a romantic excursion or family getaway, I would’ve been deeply disappointed. If you are a finicky traveler don’t go, but if you’re someone who considers a hotel room just a place to pop down and sleep until your next excursion then this is a great place for you.
Excelente
Great location to stay in Milan. Close proximity to dining and shopping locations. The rooms are spacious with gorgeous decor. They have a laundry room which was a huge plus.
Great & convenient location
Great apartment right in the centre of Milan. Short walk to the cathedral and castle. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. If breakfast is added to the booking it’s served in the bistro downstairs. Loads of options. Very friendly helpful staff at reception. Would stay there again.
Construction across the street woke us up pretty early. Property is right in the middle of all the site's. Room could use an upgrade. Not a fan of the green carpet. They offer free laundry but the drier does not work so we had to hang our clothes off anywhere we could find. Good thing the room was large and had a balcony.
Beautiful decor with close proximity to great shops.
sublime
Very clean and well equipped rooms
Great place, comfortable and designed with taste, extremely well located.
Very close to the center, duomo, restaurants etc.
Great location and beautiful old building nicely renovated
Everything perfect with the exception of a wrong pin to enter the apartment. We had to wait for 15 min.
Secluded hotel near Duomo and main shopping and dining area. Room was huge with lots of space, including large bathroom and dinette area. We only spent a night but would definitely book again.
