Pros:

The staff were very friendly, the facilities and bar were very good. The room was comfortable and it was overall a great stay.

Cons:

The room did smell a bit of cigarette smoke when we arrived. Not necessarily the fault of the hotel, and it was very minor. Did not detract from a great stay.

Decent city centre hotel just like most of the hotels in the area all similar prices

I booked the hotel and Breakfast was included in the deal . We booked breakfast because we were advised that the restaurant can sometimes be busy in the morning. We were seated promptly and ordered a cooked breaKfast which never arrived despite asking 4 times and the tables around us received their breakfast promptly. I did complain and did receive an apology but it’s very poor and the hotel was decent but nothing you can’t get anywhere in the area at a similar price . I left very disappointed and probably won’t return despite staying IHG hotels regularly.

Pros:

The room was great. Stylish, comfortable, clean and great value for money. Location was ideal. Handy for Mathew Street and the Cavern as well as the main areas. Cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Our door keys kept malfunctioning. Getting them fixed was hilarious. While no ID was required at check-in, you can't get your key fixed without it 😂😂
