Boutique Hotel Villa Blu Cortina

Excellent experience at Villa Blu. The hotel offers a truly beautiful, privileged view and is very well located, close to the center of Cortina, which makes getting around easy. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, the staff is extremely kind and attentive, and the restaurant is a real highlight. Another great plus is the convenience of covered parking.

We had a beautiful stay here. Villa Blu is quaint and charming, surrounded by the beauty of Cortina. The entire staff was kind and helpful. We had planned to take a ski lift up to explore but learned they were closed for the season. The front desk staff took great care in helping us plan an alternative for our day, which ended up being lovely. We especially enjoyed the breakfast. We traveled around Italy for 16 days and even though Cortina was our first stop, this was my favorite breakfast of the trip! It was clear that the ingredients were high quality, especially the eggs with their gorgeous orange yolks. The variety was also impressive. Villa Blu is a bit of a walk uphill from the main area, but my husband and I enjoyed the activity and it prepared us for the rest of our trip! I highly recommend planning to be at the hotel during sunset at least once during your stay to witness it from your balcony. Truly magical.

My wife and I spent our 31 year anniversary in this beautiful town. Staying in this wonderful hotel made it all the more special. It was so beautiful and the location was amazing. A nice and quiet place up on the hill overlooking this beautiful place. Every view was amazing!! We received the best treatment on arrival and our entire stay. The staff was so helpful with all of our questions and were so excited to hear about each day as we came back. They were always friendly and informative. Always big smiles!! The accommodations were awesome!! Beautiful lobby, restaurant and breakfast area. We enjoyed the breakfast very much and always had plenty to choose from. The wait staff always gave 100 percent. Our room was incredible. Very large patio, nice comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Everything was so clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff was amazing. Always giving us what we needed to make our stay more comfortable. I know there are a lot of places to choose but I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel. The price was a great value. My wife and I will definitely be back. We explored the Dolomite’s in four days and we could definitely spend another week or two to see more. We will stay here again! Really nice hotel, and the stuff is amazing! Recommended to go as a couple or with family. It was clean, restaurant was great, and you are very near the centre of cortina.

Welcoming friendly staff and a delicious selection of breakfast including yogurt muesli fresh fruit and fresh bread with cheese and meats, and a large selection of pastries. Wonderful friendly customer service from Julio and Sophia at the front desk who suggested we experience the local cable car to go to Torino which was a great suggestion after hiking in the morning. I’m not usually someone who takes the cable cars as I prefer to be active hiking however this was well worth it. My suggestions for your hotel would be encourage tap water usage as you have such wonderful local water rather than bottled water, offer bike hire, and perhaps coffee making could be improved to make nice cappuccinos and lattes. Overall a wonderful location to walk to town and undertake day hikes. I’m glad we found split the beds to have two single beds as I was travelling with a friend. Rooms are quite small but the epic dolomite mountain views are spectacular..

This hotel is in a perfect location in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Close walking distance to the centre of town. The hotel staff were polite and super helpful in guiding us to our hiking destination. Sitting outside for breakfast was serene, surrounded by the mountains. Thank you for a great visit!

Villa blu is old Italian grandeur. Restaurant and breakfast were good. Bar/restaurant staf spoke hardly any English. Reception oké. Bathroom was outdated. Fungus on the ceiling. A shower in the bath made sure the whole Floor would get wet. The hotel has 4star potential, but needs some upgrading. Reception staf was very friendly and coöperatie

Location was great. Short walk into town. Unfortunately we could hear people in the rooms next to us.

Many of the things listed on the Expedia site like the airport shuttle were not actually available amenities.

Ita a very no e hotel, in a morenold fashiones style, but comfortable and in general very good. Some few things need update, showe glas far to small and everything silla o er, faucett in labatoey had a leaj and it was noticeable it has been tried to fix it with special glue. Toilet paper just laid loose on the window frame. Liitel thing whoch cam be improved easily

The location is great, with peripheral views of the mountains.

The hotel currently looks nothing like the picture- much more jaded and tired looking. Also advertised as 4 star but more akin with 3 star. Breakfast chaotic and not of great quality. Room was fine and comfortable and lovely balcony with fantastic views.

Fantastic quaint villa! The receptionists were top notch and offered alternative hiking suggestions since our planned route was snow-packed. It was truly a charming experience! Thank you for a fantastic experience in every regard!!!!

The property is absolutely stunning and right next to the Mountains at the top of Cortina d Ampezzo. The staff are phenomenal and kind. What an idyllic and romantic stay it was. 100% will go back again. The area is also breathtaking for hiking!

Lovely hotel with Old World charm and the hardest working staff In Cortina. Warm and welcoming from arrival to departure, the staff made us feel like family and could not have been more helpful. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Convenient location to the center of town and lifts. We loved staying here and hope someday to return.

This is a lovely setting with a great restaurant. I would stay again.
